    Congratulations Gabester.

I hated the rear end, now I am in love with it. If looks could kill, this car would be a mass murderer.

So Gabe, what's the top speed of this thing? Is it faster than the Bolide 390 GTR and the Sunburst Sport RS?

I take it the windows don't roll down all the way...? Doesn't look like they'de fit in the doors with those air channel scoop thingies.

Only thing I've noticed, where does the license plate go.
sunburst race/rally is faster than rs i think, or does the rs get the stage 2 tuning now?

Hmm, in BeamNG I am pretty much only interested in the stock street cars. I never really use the racing cars to be honest. But as soon as we get a career or leaderboards I can see they can be useful :)

License plate goes in the large negative space below the tailgate. Also, it's S2, not RS ;) Stands for Stage 2 (with regards to the twin turbos, wheels, and suspension). S2 is engraved in the wheels of the S2 version as well.

Top speed isn't impressive, I think it's around 175 mph. This car is much more about rocketship acceleration and face-melting grip.

Windows: the door windows have plenty of room to roll down. Don't know about the rear ones; maybe they'd tilt out or something.

    If you say so.

Judging by that pic, the window looks too tall (Red and Pink are the same lengths) to fit in the door before hitting the scoop, and also the curvature of the pillars (green arc) looks as if the window would intersect with the outer door surface if it were to follow the curving rails properly.

Well done. That circle doesn't seem to match the window line though, especially near the bottom, you can see it deviate from the actual arc.

You're missing the point... I know both the lines are the same length, i made them so. But the point is the pink line shows how far down the window would have to go in order for it not to stick out when rolled down, and you can see it would intersect with the air scoop.

Not a big deal, but not the most realistic. Then again, the whole design doesn't seem overly realistic so at least its consistent.

I think Gabe is referring to "kick out" style windows for the rear sides, kind of like minivans have. I for one think
that idea would be epic and fit the car perfectly.

Yes i agree, in fact most modern cars rear windows (on 2/3 door cars) don't open at all, and thats fine. Its very unusual for the front windows to be unable to roll down fully though.

Why are we talking about wheter a window can roll down or not, when we should really be talking about where we're going to put that mandatory rear license plate :p

May I suggest we don't talk about that?

The glass is curved, right? So it needs to roll down not straigt, but in a slight curve, making it so that it steers inwards, away from the scoop.

Btw., some Hondas (and others) had an ability to turn the rear wheels slightly to make the car go better around the corner, could that be something for the SBR4?

The rear windows on your own car do not roll down, They pop out. Gabester is saying the same would probably apply here. It is fairly common for 2 door cars to have pop out rear windows, take the bmw compact for example, it has a "similar" body shape to the SBR4 and has pop out windows.

He could even take the same approach as the Volvo c30 or the Audi A3 2 door where the rear windows do no open at all.

As for the front windows its entirely possible that they dont roll down all the way, im sure there are probably quite a few super cars that dont allow the the windows to roll down all the way. But Gabester even said that they fit (although he is unsure about the rear ones) so im sure its fine.

Indeed. I was talking about the front windows right from the start. No idea why people are talking about the rears, there's no issue there.

I think it should actually be fairly easy, you just add more hydros onto the rear wheels and set them up in the exact same way as the front wheels, then just adjust the limits so they dont turns as sharply.

This is the coolest looking car till now. Good job guys:)
I suggest doing a supersport version with even more active aero elements. Ones on the front bumper for example, which move as you corner. Would be kinda cool
