I wasn't quite sure where to stick this, but would it be a great idea if you could put your own music in game alongside Gabester's compositions? If there's already a way, please, inform me and I apologise for the unnecessary thread
I would personally +1 this , this sounds like a great idea. Maybe have a "Music" folder in the DRIVE directory where you put the media files, then ingame there is a media player.
This would be a nice thing, especially because sounds are not even close to what we are supposed to hear in final versions
This has already been mentioned in the non-drive forums quite a while ago. I think one of the dev staff said something along the lines of it not being a priority.
What they said is that computers can multitask, so if you want music have a player in the background.
With Ctrl W you have wide array of parts at your arsenal. Perhaps an ability to put car stereo in your car what plays internet radios (similar to Euro Truck Simulator 2) or your own custom MP3's
That is definetly good idea and should be implemented at next update. Game doesn't have perfect sound now, and I'd love to have my own music in game to play in main menu, and in game. +1
I occasionally keep thinking about it sometimes in-game Radio-Player will be perfect feature it can be just simple window with play-list and buttons in additional - will be to have optional feature - faded sound of music overboard car (like how far camera from car = lower volume of music and maybe simple sound filter for obscure music) but many people may want just music player in any camera (that's why optional)
