I'd still advise you to stick to the one I linked l, as I found it easier to understand at first. Once you have a feel for the commands I'd recommend you to go to that one. And yes, if blueprints are not scaled, you will have to redo large portions of the car, especially towards the rear.
Not exactly sure what you are trying to do, I don't know much about car modelling. (yet) But what I think you're trying to do is extrude the plane over the blueprint and it doesn't extrude straight? If this is actually the case, then press 'x' while extruding (or the letter of any other axis you are dealing with) and it will extrude directly along that axis. I'm assuming you already know this because it's very basic, and it's probably not you're problem anyway. It might help you anyway. Looks awesome! Strong too. The stock roof on the Pessima is extremely weak... Seems that the Moonhawk's roof is stronger... If you roll the Pessima, the roof almost always gives in significantly. I definitely look forward to your rally Pessima though! Rally racing's fun.
I don't know, I just keep starting things that I don't know if I'll ever finish . Very Wip. No, I haven't abandoned the project of the ultralight trike thing, also working on it.
I totally agree. I think that's the right way to do it. It's just that with the ultralight I'm now on the jbeaming-tweaking stage which becomes kind of "boring" if stuck for too long , so I feel I need to start something new to stay "entertained" while still working now on both things haha.
Or middle mouse click, that will snap movement to whichever (xyz) axis you move your mouse in. This is probably easier than using the keyboard buttons in the case of extruding. Something else that can be very useful is changing the directional arrows (that you drag to move things) from global to normal, local or one of the other modes. This can be really useful for if you want to do something parallel to the normal of the selected nodes. You can do so using the menu shown in the image below. Note that this is very task specific and will only benefit certain things.
well its dead main reason: the beams dont create even tho BOTH OF THE fucking nodes are correct and NO the mesh is not going to be given out
Dese uglyz gapz How do I even fix these gaps when i modify the body of these cars? I really honestly hate these gaps but i dont know how to fix them
Did you try turning it off and turning it back on again? That usually works. Anyhow, suspension actually works now. Without collapsing. First bit of progress on anything in a while.
Re: Dese uglyz gapz that is really basic modelling, you should look for a tutorial to learn more after you continue
I'm really looking forward to the Rebel 4x4. It will be cool. Will it have the HD interior, and finished textures?
is this blueprint good enough for my Subaru project? asking too many questions but I guess its fine since this is my first modeling project.
