So as most of you know, we moved to DX11 not so long ago. For many this increased performance and responsiveness, but some of you weren't so lucky.
We would like to investigate these issues and improve them.

If you are having issues with DX11, please post your full specs and any issues you are having, it will allow us to fix these problems faster.

    Cheers :)

Its a small bug, but its new, when spawning in a car, the parts for the car load in very slowly (30 seconds max), and sometimes it only loads half the car, so It would load the frame in first with the front and rear headlights, then the windows, then the doors, then the engine and yatta yatta you know where I'm going with this.

This never happened before the update.

Since I'm a idiot and I played this game with vSync ON, I've always had 60fps, but I do notice some drops down to 30 at some points but goes back up to 60, and no, none of my parts are cooking, I already checked that.

    Framerate went from 50 - 70 with DX9 to around 70 - 90 with DX11.

No issues here, thanks for the update guys ;)

The problem i'm having with the DX11 update is that my framerate dropped to around 30-40 FPS. Before, it was around 70-80 FPS (if I can remember). Now I have to set all of my settings to normal so I can get around 60 FPS.

No major issues, although I saw no noticeable performance improvements with the switch to DirectX 11. Basically the same as before.

I definitely have noticed a performance increase on the heavy maps like JRI in the recent updates along with multiple vehicles at a time.

    PC Specs:
    Intel Core i5-3570k @4GHz
    8GB G.Skill Ripjaws
    XFX AMD Radeon HD7970 3GB
    Windows 10 Pro x64

I can't really say I've had any real issues.

I3-3217U with the onboard HD4000. Minimum settings, can now achieve 30fps which was never possible before.

    I currently have a laptop with a Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8 GHz, Nvidia Quadro FX 770M (512MB), 32 Bits Vista. 4GB RAM but more wouldn't make sense :p

0.4.1.0 ran on my laptop, although even gridmap with a single D15 had a terrible fps. I used to have a decent/playable fps on gridmap with at least 2 D15's, only near trees it was bad.
0.4.1.1 and 0.4.1.2 didn't run, it crashed when it was finished loading a map. (memory issue?)

Yesterday I ordered new laptop with an I7 4710 MQ and Quadro K1100M (dx11 compatible) card, I should be able to play the latest version again soon :)

    @the Dev's:
I don't know if in my case the performance changed, because I haven't checked the FPS in the DX9 versions at maxed out settings...So I can't compare DX9 to DX11, but I just did some testing and some Screenshots...

    First my settings:
    BeamNG 2015-08-13 18-48-58-86.png

    Gridmap:
    BeamNG 2015-08-13 18-22-43-40.jpg
(Refresh rate variegate from 47 to 60FPS at testing stage)

    JRI:
    BeamNG 2015-08-13 18-27-35-06.jpg
(Refresh rate variegate from 30 to 38FPS at testing stage)

    ECU:
    BeamNG 2015-08-13 18-42-37-05.jpg
(Refresh rate variegate from 29 to 40FPS at testing stage)

So, is it normal that I get about 35 FPS at max. settings in maps with landscapes compared to my hardware?
And I think that in older versions I could adjust the refresh rate from my monitor to 60Hz @1080p instead of 59Hz in options menu...did it changed because a reason?
(My hardware setup is declared down below in my signature (Of course latest GPU-Driver installed :)))

Those settings are crazy high, turn off dynamic reflections and you'll get nearly double the FPS.

Yes, the settings are completely high...but I want to know if my gaming rig is good enough to run the settings normaly with more FPS because it is relatively high end...And i wanna play with dynamic reflections, so i don't disable it

My FPS increased from about 60FPS on Gridmap with the D15 to 70FPS on Gridmap with the T75 Cargobox thing.
Running the game at the normal preset wiht dynamic reflections in the middle.
Specs are in the signature below.

I don't know why, but after updating to Windows 10 and updating my beamng drive.
My FPS dropped from 60-70 FPS on grid map to 30-40 FPS with base D-15, using the same settings as before.
Also I've deleted my Beamng drive folder in Documents to beamng create a new one after the update.
    Using the newest Nvidia drivers.
    My Specs are:

    I5-3570K 4.0GHZ
    GTX 670
    8GB ram DDR3 1600mhz

    FX-8350
    8gb RAM 1333mhz
Currently HD5770 (have yet to test on my main 7870 card)

What ive notcied when comparing on ECA with the stock D15 at spawn is that in the dx9 version i was getting about 30-32 fps consistently im now getting more like 24-26 at identical settings in dx11. This is pretty similar to the performance decrease over all maps but its usually only 3-4 fps. But what i have noticed is much less stutering overall in all maps and even at somewhat high settings the game is quite playable even with this old card.

Yes, your posts were one of the main reasons I created this thread, to gather more info on hardware that doesn't seem to like DX11, so that we can try resolve these issues.

You are not the only one with these problems, no need for guilt trips. :)

Thanks, I appreciate the help. Being one of the few that has this problem with DX11, I was clear I'm willing to help with anything I could do to identify this problem, but never got a reply to that. I'm still open to help in any way I can.
