If you don't compile the torquescripts / lua scripts then the game will have ALOT more modding possibilities, because everyone can look at the those scripts to see how stuff works. Are you going for maximum mod support or for security of your code?
The scripts are not compiled and will not be shipped compiled for exactly this maximum mod-ability reason You can watch and modify as you like.
That's awesome! (I remember many games made with torque where the script files shipped as dso and there was no way to figure out how some default stuff works, making it impossible to properly modify it)
