Hey, i would like to show you my map i'am working on. It's a racetrack from an old PS1 game called Destruction Derby 2, my favorite game in my childhood. I thought how it would be like to have this track in BeamNG, it's a track for racing and crashing in one, it would be very interesting to see how the physics of games has changed the years. Who don't know the game & the course, heres a video: All of these elements, i will try to implement into my version too, as well as i can. It is in early stages, but I'm working very hard on it to get an awesome track at the end. I look forward to any feedback or suggestions you make. Thank you.
Wow, this brings back some good memories. DD2 is one of my favorite games, and this is probably the best track in the game. I used to love hitting that hump on the second big jump and fly through the air, that jump would often lose me the race on the last lap. Good luck with the map! This is one I'm really excited to try.
awww yeah. one of my all time favorite games on the ps1. this is gonna make me wanna play it all over again. . thanks for making this on beam ng. im very excited to see the finished result, what u have made so far looks very promising.
Wow, this is gonna bring back some good old memories. I played that game so much, i remember that map like if i played it yesterday. I think i still have the ps1 disk somewhere in a box. Cant wait to play this map. Keep it up.
Great to see this somewhat obscure course get recreated! The most memorable part of this course for me was that sudden narrow part just after the start/finish line, I always used to get into first and brake so that everyone would pile into one another. Good times.
YES YES YES!!! Please have this made, i used to love destruction derby 2 on PS1 in fact I would still play it now! I actually can not wait till you have this track made!
Sorry, I'm currently very busy and had some problems with the map, but i making progress, i try to release it as soon as possible
This looks fun. Good for you for making it from scratch, and not just trying to blatantly rip the map from the game. Will definitely enjoy playing a game I used to play in DOS in my teens in the late 90s.
