    Hi,

Whenever I put a car into first gear, it starts slowly accelerating on its own. Putting it in second makes it go faster, same with third and so on.
It's very strange, I can go rock crawling without touching the gas pedal :D. I'm using a Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel with ''Manual Automatic Clutch'' gears.

This could, however, be a problem with my pedals, but I doubt it. I inverted the axis in the FFB options and the same thing happened. I set a 50% throttle deadzone in the Logitech Profiler, but the game didn't seem to pick that up. It would be cool if the game had its own pedal deadzone settings.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

On an unrelated note, how do I disable Traction Control? Sometimes a car simply dies in the slightest slope.

If you have enough torque real cars do this to. Automatics also do this to due to the torque converter.

Really? This happens with every car and up to 60 km/h or so.

It's natural...if the gear is engaged, it will go on its own at 500-800 rpm. Try putting a manual car in 1st and then slowly release the clutch, it should move forward and keep moving. Automatic transmission also does that, after releasing the brake on the D mode.

Have you ever driven a real car? If I must, I shall go outside and video this, real cars do it...

Please drive a real car, then report back with your findings. Automatics and manuals both move forward without throttle input.

Of course, I just pointed out that no other game I've played so far models this, which is interesting.

Engines generate idle torque even if an engine is running at 1200rpm it still creates torque, vehicles with decent or good low-end torque may cause vehicles to coast forward.

This is however over exaggerated in beam, clutch physics are yet to be correctly implemented.

Realistically cars may also just stall rather than move forward in manual.

Just videoed it but on my net, looking at a good hour to upload.

Traction control prevents wheelspin when delivering too much power. Traction control does not exist in the game.

If its dying in the slightest slope you are either in the wrong gear or not using enough throttle.

Even the rally-tuned Sunburst doesn't have any wheelspin when I slam the accelerator down, pedals or keyboard alike. Something seems slightly off.

    There we go.

And blinking orange light at the end, traction control going nuts.
