could you please add a five or six gear transmission. it would make this mod 10/10. Thanks for the best multi car mod avaliable!
I can find only one flaw with this mod and that is that the two transmissions both cannot handle the torque of the supercharged 427 and really let the rpm slip. This makes the cars with the supercharged 427 stressful to drive.
Hi, I'm having an issue with the welded diffs since the last update. The car just stays still and does nothing if you try to turn while accelrating on the spot. Is this a known issue ? ...
Re: Bruckell Moonhawk T-Top, Sedan, Station wagon, Ute & Limousine V0.3.0 This mod doesn't seem to work properly with any of the cars that I used before 0.4.05. They just come out orange with "NO TEXTURE" written all over them, and with the station wagons, the rear suspension gives way causing the rear tires to fly right off the car while it's driving. Deleted all the known cache files, and reinstalled the mods, but I still get the same problem. Help? - - - Updated - - - EDIT: Apparently it works perfectly fine if you take it OUT of its ZIP file, and just put in the folder labeled "moonhawk_sedan" in your mods folder.
Something is wrong with the mods manager where maps and vehicles are not being seen by the game while zipped. If a vehicle or map has problems while zipped and in the mods folder unzip and leave in the mods folder and try it. If that doesn't work put the unzipped mod into the regular contents/levels folder. Just be aware when you unzip and put in the regular contents/levels folder it will be removed and put into the "unknown user file" folder whenever an update or Steam game integrity verify happens.
I like this mod alot! I use it most of the time. I don't want to sound whiny or anything, but may you add some front diffs, like for the offroad version or something?
Where are the jbeam codes for the slotted mags with racing slicks, and the welded 4.88 diff located? can't find them anywhere in the jbeams.
Still having this issue? I'm currently using exactly the same zip file as in this thread, I've got no problems whatsoever... Thanks! But I think a modern 5 or 6 speed wouldn't fit a 70's American car... Thanks! That's in the bugs list, and I kept it this way on purpose. IRL automatic transmissions can handle more torque than manuals, and this engine should have some drawbacks compared to the other engines. Thanks for the heads up, it has been mentioned before, the wide steel wheels and sport wheels at front have this issue unfortunately. There is/was a small problem with the mod manager, but as I wrote I am using exactly the same mod file and don't encounter any problems... Maybe there's some difference between the 32 and 64 bit versions..? Like I wrote for the 5 and 6 speed, I don't think I fits the car. I am aware of the existence of companies adding fourwheel drive to American cars in the 60's and 70's and the AMC Eagle, but meh. It will need quite some adjustments to the mesh as well to have it realistically fit. There aren't that many rear suspension and wheel file are there..? Thanks! I was already wondering when you were going to reply Yep, and some other derby parts as well. Don't forget there are 5 different derby number decals. Don't mind the weird position of the added fuelcell, I've put that in the trunk (of the coupe and the sedan, it's on the same position of the sedans) for race car safety reasons.
What do you mean? All I'm saying is that I cannot find where these options are, in any of the Jbeams, or at least I missed it, but I tried to look for it. All I was asking from you is to tell me which file it's under. Sorry man, didn't think that was too much to ask for..
hey arb, just letting you know you need to update the trailer, the back does not go down all the way, it appears to be the one from the d-series so you just need to update that file
Ok I went on vacation for 2 weeks and today I started the game up. The mod is back to working totally fine, and I still might be getting higher FPS
Hey AR162B It's been awhile since I have played beam but now both your gavril truck mod and moonhawk mod crash my game now and I'm not getting any error info as to why the game is crashing
I have noticed an error. The normal "T-top V8 MT" variant doesn't have the T-top body. It has the regular coupe body instead, so I have to change the body. And on some maps, such as East Coast, USA, and Generic City, the car doesn't properly register the changes, and I can't change the body, or else I can't drive the car anymore.
Re: Bruckell Moonhawk T-Top, Sedan, Station wagon, Ute & Limousine V0.3.0 i think the issue on eastcoast usa is a random bug. i get one where i spawn the car (its only this mod) and it is just a small white rectangle. just a small little glitch that happens at random. as for the t-top not loading as a t-top im not shure it works fine for me. so i cant help you there. - - - Updated - - - uninstall both mods, reinstall the latest versions. take the zip file and put it in your mods folder. Documents/Beam.ng drive/Mods (or something close to that) but the truck (unless i missed a new update) has a few missing textures nothing major, wing mirrors, seats, and dash
Re: Bruckell Moonhawk T-Top, Sedan, Station wagon, Ute & Limousine V0.3.0 The bug I get is different, although I get that licence plate bug as well, usually after the bug I usually get. The car spawns underwater with grey'd out lights after changing some parts (which also happens with the van mod), and I have to pause the physics and spawn a new car to fix it. It annoys me a lot.
