I'm not going to jinks it this time, some much work, yet it's almost unnoticeable, moving polies, fixing the flow, improving accuracy etc.
The roof looks a bit narrow to me. IIRC, you said the blueprints were not very good. If the blueprints had perspective, that would explain it. Also, pillars and side windows should be slightly curved.
The weird thing is, using the top view it is accurate, using the side view, its to narrow. the side pillars need work, I'll look into it.
Motivation from Mitch's fantastic work on the new Gavril V8s. Wiring loom and engine ventilation done. Need to finish coolant lines, then onto vacuum, then the engine bay is sorted. Engbaycrap has moved to become frunk crap. Need to do interior driver controls, then time to unwrap and texture. Mythbuster very kindly kicked off a great jbeam, but that's for another day. (imported from here) Getting close.
Are the models similar enough that you could swap them entirely without it being too big an issue? (texture, model and all)
Yeah, no depends, if they are Forza-esque hi-poly then it is no sense in even trying that, and even if not, i'm not totally sure if they would be interchangable. well you would need to get them in the first place anyway.
Also, that HQ dash in GTA5 totally wrong.... they stuffed in Honda CRX dash from AE86 And Ilya, when those textures will be released?
It even used to say FUTO on the rev counter. Pretty much it has no effort, but at least it has animations that BeamNG uses (Fuel, rev, etc.).
Dont you mean, they stuffed in AE86 dash from a Futo into a Honda CRX. I have a blista compact as one of my cars in GTA Online. Disappointed its not actually counted as a compact and is instead a sports class vehicle for races, its not competitive in that class on anything but the smallest tight circuits where its good handling can get it a slight edge (however other sports vehicles can often keep up)
Any chances that we see instead just empty reflectors, damaged light textures in new version? Like ones that i sended you to check before
