Cant update

I tried to update, i do NOT have the steam version, but it says it cant get the version.txt it couldn't resolve host name. I downloaded a very long time ago. I wont have to buy it on steam will i? Any help would be much appreciated.

 

You should be able to get a Steam key through your website account. The old non-steam launcher is depreciated and no longer functions.
