A power steering failure wouldn't be easy on an experienced driver either. I've had to coast my car in, engine off, at least twice in the past couple weeks, once because I had a lot less gas left than I thought and once because I was seeing zero oil pressure. It is absolutely not easy - takes quite a bit of strength to turn the wheel and then it doesn't want to self-center.

My friends dad friend was driving his truck around a corner when the power steering failed. He had to use a lot of strength to turn the wheel, then the power steering came back on. He flipped his truck multiple times off the road. I heard this story when our dads were talking. It makes me want to have a car without power steering, less things to fail.

Description: A policeman was driving down a bridge in his D-Series Roamer when a drunk driver began speeding his stolen truck in the middle of the road. The truck smashed the SUV and nearly launched it and the officer off the bridge. The truck flipped onto its side and shot the driver to the passenger side.
Injuries: The Cargo Box's airbag failed to deploy, and the driver was killed when his head smashed into the steering wheel, fracturing his skull. The Roamer's dashboard, and by extension the steering wheel, flung backward and hit the officer at the bottom of the rib cage, breaking one of his ribs and puncturing his left liver. The airbag deployed late and broke the officer's nose, as well as giving him a major concussion and whiplash. Officer Steph Eben is still in the hospital but the doctors say he will be okay. However, the drunk driver Zachary Mackenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.
    Map Used: East Coast, USA
Cars Used: Gavril H-Series H45 Cabster V8 RWD Cargo Box Upfit, Gavril D-Series Roamer V8 4WD Sheriff
Aftermath: Zachary's family attempted to sue the police station, but were not successful and was forced to pay the price of both vehicles, sending them into bankruptcy.
    Images: See attachments.
