Re: Big trucks Well, unfortunately, driving games are usually rated E and/or have a big target audience. Not for how old they are, but for how much they like cars. Plus, BeamNG's community is getting bigger and bigger every moment, so it can't be prevented. Finally, they already spent their $20 buying the game and joining the forums. They can do/ say whatever stupid ideas they want. BeamNG has already taken their money.
Re-introduce the old "racing wheels" from the Hirochi Sunburst. I liked the old ones, even though the new ones are good looking.
Could somebody make a "Phantom" from GTA V? If so, could you make it have the bullbar from the Hauler? Please?
An amphibious pigeon, or if you have the time and skill, a whole new car, something like this. An amphibious pigeon convertible would be pretty cool though.
Re: Big trucks Then why would I be on here? I'm 15 right now (16 in August). I've been on these forums for over a year and made quite a few videos about this game. Is that a new rule? If it was that way, I would have been kicked off at age 14 when I bought the game. Even if it was rated 16, it's not like it would be under tight control. Millions of 10 year olds play GTA and I don't see anything being done.
the new minivans (see Dodge Caravan 3.6, KIA Sedona 3.3 etc) are actually quite fast, they would beat the crap out of a lot of run-of-the-mill cars...they are heavy, big, soft, and lots of ways to crash...Plus, the Sedona has IRS, it actually can handle corners and to me, looks fabulous. (not that I am biased since I work in a KIA Showroom lol) fuck the GC, POS dodge stuff. Still solid rear axle and MPI fuel delivery? What happened to getting with the times, Chrysler/Dodge??
Re: Big trucks It is not so much a maturity thing as it is to do with germans legal system regarding minors (and as mature as you may or may not be, you are considered a minor legally). Should something happen to you kickstarted via these forums, with you being a minor, under german law BeamNG has some sort of legal responsibility or something totally silly. its something like that, I'm a brit not a german and not a legal expert in my own country let alone in germany. But I believe the decision was taken to simply prohibit minors from using the site. It is in the terms and conditions for when you register your profile. A few have managed to stick about as they registered before the rule changed. Originally there was no age limit. I think it was some point during 2013 that it was changed. By the time I registered my profile, that rule was already in place. Your profile indicates you as being here less than a year, you joined september 2014 (I joined sep 2013). Therefore you are technically violating it. But you've been here long enough that I think a blind eye will be turned until august. Coincedentally, my birthday in august too \o/ (for which I dont give a damn). But quite a few under agers have indeed been banned. Just seems you slipped through the net.
Re: Big trucks Perhaps I wasn't paying much attention, but have there been that many people banned just for being underage? I was under the impression that that was more of a formality, and that maturity, grammar, post count, post relevance, etc. were the sole grounds for banning.
This is more of a suggestion for the official vehicles. When you're selecting a vehicle it would be cool to have an option to choose LHD or RHD.
I'd like to see a "GTO" version of the Bolide--one with a stripped interior, cage, racing livery and an aero package (wing/spoilers/diffuser)
Any way someone could make (preferably skinnable but not necessarily a requirement) planes and/or tanks by using the textures/models/data from War Thunder? I know that this can be frowned upon if the model isn't up to quality, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem as there arequite a few people on here who are good at making/porting items for BeamNG. I would gladly help but I can't model (as of right now, I could (and will) learn, but by the time I go through the trouble someone else could make it for the rest of the community to enjoy). I also don't know how to jbeam, but I have Blender and yet again can learn. Here's hoping to see my beautiful BF-109 in game!
