0.4.0.0 G27 Manual Transmission Issues

So I recently bought a G27 to play various games including Beamng. It arrived the same day as the new 0.4.0.0 update so I have never used it on the older version of the game. Mostly everything works with the wheel.
My problems are:

In arcade automatic mode, the car acts as if the transmission is disconnected from the engine, so it basically revs to redline without moving the car. The paddles don't change gears, neither does the H-shifter. However if I slowly apply the throttle the car will move only until I pass halfway through the powerband depending on the car. After I pass that point, the car will no longer accelerate and acts as if the transmission is disconnected again, revving all the way to redline.

Everything is fine in real automatic mode though.

My other problem is that when I am in manual mode with a manual car, the gears change like they should when you move the paddles or select a gear but the car does not respond when I floor the pedal. The car redlines and does not move. This time, if I slowly apply the throttle pedal, the car will accelerate and gain speed. It's when I push down the gas too fast will the car "disconnect" from the engine again and just redline.

Is anyone else having this problem with their G27? Does anyone have any solutions? I just got the wheel too so I may not have set it up properly although it works on other games such as Assetto Corsa and NFS Shift 2.

 

I have a G27 and have none of these issues. Weird. Maybe post a video of what's happening so we can get a better idea of the issue.

Do you have any engine mods installed?

 

No engine mods. But I fixed the issue fortunately. Deleting the beamng.drive folder in My Documents as well as trying a usb 2.0 slot instead.
