I feel like I am the only one who wants this. Just a beautiful car.

Being an American, and not much of a motorhead, I'll admit that my familiarity with the Asian automotive market only starts with the 70's fuel shortage-era imports. I don't know much about what was going on in post-war Japan, but if Goosah's '69 Corolla was any indication, perhaps I'll jump on this bandwagon after all.

You arent alone. In term of the recent poll though, it just wasnt my favourite option on the list. 2nd or 3rd place maybe.

Just a side suggestion, but I think since this car has some similarities (which are small, but still has some) with the 1968 Nissan Skyline C10 / Datsun Skyline 2000 GT, it would be cool to see the taillights split up to two.

The Ibishu Miramar and the Hakosuka Skyline though are very different. The Hakosuka is a larger class of car to begin with (especially when fitted with the inline 6). It is also one of the first Japanese cars to make the transition form traditional, inferior layouts to modern and sophisticated engineering. For instance, it uses a monocoque chassis, has independent suspension in the rear, and uses an OHC engine (DOHC for the GT-R), all of which the Miramar would most likely not have.

The Miramar, in terms of engineering/construction, would be closer to something like a 410 Datsun Bluebird or a UP10 Toyota Publica. Such cars were usually very basic and used fairly conventional engineering. The late 60's (probably 1 or 2 chassis codes later for the Miramar) saw the beginning of the boom in the Japanese auto industry.

That said, a newer Miramar (ie 510 era) or slightly larger car would also be nice to see for BeamNG;)

You and I are going to have to disagree as far as body-on-frame construction being inferior to unibody. Body-on-frame has a few, very distinct advantages. Namely, it can be repaired after a minor accident without needing to straighten the frame, and the unibodies of the time period under discussion here had all the structural rigidity of soggy pasta.

Neither the 2000gt or the gtr were turbocharged.

this would be a pretty cool little car to drive around in just as long as you don't drive it into a D15.

Oh one of those good old cheap jap cars. With something like a 1.1 i4 or something under 1.5. And i bet with a 2 speed auto box it won't get out it's own way. ( manual will help but still )

The day's when everyone had Ford and Holden. And people who had these where mostly first cars

Reminds me of my dads old Toyota corona

I hope there will be a ( Hot roded ) Or tuned with the option to add a 200xb engine in it. Make it a mean drift car.

I hope shes next. But i know when it's done its Done :)
