Sometimes i need to recover vehicle without repairing. For example:

R = Recover car without repair
    R + Shift = Recover car + repair
I = reset car to start position

I also notice that you can't flip the car back on its wheel's without hit I Ctrl- R or R. In RoR you could move the mouse grab on a beam and flip it back over. Maybe the the devs with implement a button or like RoR flip it back over when you grab a beam without repairing the vehicle. Maybe the dev's will chime into this topic.

I would kill to be able to grab a beam with the mouse, would came in so handy for when you get stuck in a really crap place or roll over.

Yeah I agree with you guys. The mouse grabbing feature should be back indeed, but other things are more important in my opinion. It shouldn't hold up development, but that's just my opinion
