Black line? You mean the skidmarks?
They are less opaque now, but they still should appear (ex. if you skid hard enough).

They do not show at all. All it is left behind ond the ground are orange boxes with "No texture" written on it. I am missing the skidmark texture

Well, you haven't said that. You are missing the texture.
Try deleting the whole BeamNG.Drive folder in MyDocuments (make a backup of your mod folder if you want) then check if they are back.

There is more than 1 material.cs in the whole game folder.

You better do a fresh installation..

    -Unistall the game via Steam
-Delete the BeamNG folder in MyDocuments
-Go to Steam>Steamapps>Common and delete the BeamNG.Drive folder if there is still one

Now you can reinstall BeamNG.Drive via Steam.

I think the variable skidmarks are awesome and a great way to get them more realistic.

They are way too light however and I wouldn't blame anyone for saying they aren't there at all. My new mission is to
darken them up a bit. I want my damn skidmarks back.:D
