So jumping in here on the trunk lid thing, removing it stops the downward bend issue in the rear of the Moonhawk?? If this is true then I have a few things
to look at. I hate the way the MH ass end curls under.

Yup, I'm guessing that because of the way the lid slopes downward, and the fact that the bumper is mounted with a downward slant that it pushes it down... I think if you had the stock bumper on upside down it might help, but yes, removing the trunk lid and taking off the rear bumper made the ass end pack in just perfect.

Cool. I'm gonna' check that out. It's not the only thing that annoys me about the way the Moonhawk deforms.

Re the Medium Duty D-Series I personally think it looks like a Chevy Kodiak or the GMC version grill wise then an F-Series, but the design on the sides seems more F-Series.
    2008-08-04_GMC_7500_Pepsi_truck_parked_at_CVS.jpg
And actually looking at the red badge at the top of the D-Series, I can't help but think Peterbuilt. :p

But regardless I am looking forward to that coming true, always loved those trucks. AR keep up the amazing work, and why is it no one expected him to do a Raomer thing? :p (Pic leaked in Community Screeenshot thread)

Everything you do looks awesome. Though personally the separated high and low beam headlights on the medium duty seems a little odd looking, but oh well it isn't a real truck.

Great to see those replies. Also nice to see people experimenting with different parts :)

    Sorry, I'm already taken :p

I'll see if I can remove those, thanks for the info! :)

It's indeed designed to look like both the GM and the Ford. It has a hood like the Ford's (regular hood in contrast to the GM) so that's probably why the side looks more like the Ford. It was very easy to adjust my pickup parts to the Roamer, only 3 meshes had to be altered, the rest was just moved using multi-DAE. Moved some nodes and the attachments nodes are even called the same. I agree on the headlights; but looking at the Gavril's D15 & T75 it would maybe be a bit strange it to not have dual headlights... Maybe the van's headlights would fit.

This is my Moonhawk thread... I'm going to show the new rims *cough cough*
I changed my mind a bit, it's now a 5 door hatch like the Mazda 323f, Nissan Sunny, 5 door Corolla to set it a bit apart from the Sunburst...

    ----

I'm probably going to wait until the update is released as Drowsy wrote it's going to have a new tire update... So the update will be up to date :p

You should make a thread for the Covet and GM.

Ill have a request that you could make a 2 door version with this new heck and a 4 door sedan version would also be pretty nice.

I hope the new BeamNg version will come out fast so we get the new awesome rims you´ve done for the moonhawk.

Not too different from real cars. I'd be interested to see how these would bend with a tucked trunk. I'd bet that once it packs into the lid, it would be very solid.

An easier alternative to that would just be cutting the trunk lid in half. I do this on my real cars when rules say I can't tuck.
Here was an 80's GM, which are notorious for plowing down. notched, trunk lid cut in half, and you can't see in the picture, but it is creased to just above the back of the tire. The uncreased part rolled forward really well. Next picture is after winning my heat. I lost my bumper pretty early on. After that is after a 4th in the feature.

Yeah, I did know that about the 80's diplomats and most F/M/J body mopars from the 70s and 80s. They dump down in the back too. I'm more familiar with the 60's and 70's mopar cars where you gotta try to keep them down to make them pack in, but then, as weak as they already are, due to the sub-frame only going to just behind the driver's seat, how much do you want to make it pack in versus canoeing it and hoping it takes a few good wallops.... Maybe dimple the frame, but that's about it.

Oh and ARB, that'd be wicked if you could hardnose the bumpers! Could help with the frame wanting to bend down too in the front... Sometimes it does if you make/take a big hit that isn't square.

I looooove this mod. Can't tell you enough how satisfying it is to drift a supercharged limo around a corner.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but the glass of certain models aren't see thru.

So after some drifting and top speed runs, I was thinking the other day,

A supercharger for the 423 would be bad ass ;)

Also, a custom 5-speed transmission for the higher output engines? For example, even the supercharged small block runs thru the standard 4 gear manual trans ( not the close ratio) pretty efficiently. This 5 speed would not only give a better top speed with good gear ratios, it would go great with this engine, and the supercharged 423 I suggested as well. a 4 speed auto would be nice to pair up with these for the non manual guys that want high output.

I meant that unless I choose "none" under glass windows of certain models, it's just nothing but a gray, solid, un-opaque texture.

Yes, the 423 is already there, but supercharging this s.o.b would be amazing

I'm a bit busier than expected with other stuff, but parts are still being developed. I'm learning how to texture so don't expect high quality maps :p
