This thing is awesome! It's a lot more solid and yet a lot lighter than I'd have ever expected.

I wasn't sure if I was the only one having this problem but I guess I'm not. Aside from this problem with the suspension, I really love the car. Amazing work cbrider, really appreciate the mod. Keep it up!

Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0

Just saw Nadeoxs video on this thing... Most realistic looking car in BeamNG, imho. Before he started showing crash footage I actually didn't believe it was in-game footage because it looked so real! Great work man. The jbeam looks to be rather good too, judging from the video :D
The lights textures are just insane. You or someone you know must own this car in real life and a really good camera or something to get such realistic textures for lights and such?

Freaking love how it has all the little "imperfections" that any real car has, like chrome trim being split up in different parts to make the assembly possible, and the rubber/plastic being modeled as a seperate "sticky-outy" bit, seperately from the chrome, just like it is in real life. That's the kind of detail I love, makes your 3d model come to life.

Even the likeness, ie the general shape is more accurate than pretty much any of the cars I've seen (let alone made), to Forza level, and it's not even 3d scanned. That is insane. No words to describe how good this thing looks.

    Indeed, it´s his own car.

So far no problems at all. Beside that the interior lights like indicators dont work yet and the flippy suspension.
    Good work and stunning detail!

That's actually not a problem with the suspension itself. If you use the presets it won't happen, but if you mix the sport struts with the stock suspension it does that. Those parts are just not compatible, as the sport suspension is a different setup than the stock one.

I really enjoy when people notices those small details :) I must admit that owning the car in real life helps a lot to take care of those.
I wish that the jbeam was up to the same level of the modeling, but still needs a lot of work, specially on the suspension parts. Once I get more time to spend on it, I'll work on an update.

Now that you mention, the textures are there for the glow interior lights, but I haven't been able to make them work for some reason.

Used to own a 1991 1000F for 5 or 6 years and it was my favorite bike, had to sell it to buy my shop, but now I own my third Kawasaki 550, an 1983 GPZ 550 (like my avatar).

The shit losing and collapsing under power is just an issue we are having with the 200hp configuration. At one point and time i had it almost buffered out in the beta test group but it was still persistent. I love the way it handles though. It's a wonderful car to take for a cruise with the stock configuration around east coast usa. Handles better than the covet and makes plenty of power. It drives really well for me. I don't see why alot of you guys want to see a complete overhaul.. Unless your power hungry and want the 200hp to be the perfect setup. I will help cbr as much as i can though to work on it and if anything has any big helpful fixes to share then please share. I want this car to be perfect.

    Wait a minute..

CBR, the latest 1.0 why is it a hell of a lot stiffer than 0.99 i sent ya lol. I just downloaded 1.0 to see what all was changed. Feels like the stock ride height has like really really tight springs.

Don't worry, it still rides ok on east coast :) Stormdrain already gave me a very good idea on where the beams design is failing. I just need to put my hands on it and make a complete rebuild of the suspension.

Feel free to put my semi improved version out until you've gotten things fixed up, if you'd like.

I'm keeping those for now. I would like to try a few other things based on those, just to avoid asking a lot of questions after I make them public.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles right?
If so, it's still broken for me.

You shouldn't put it in the content folder. Create a vehicle folder in the BeamNG.drive main directory. Like this> (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\vehicles. Put it there. People are gonna hop on and tell me I'm wrong, but it works fine that way.
