Yeah, I pity the fool who has to use that computer. It's got a nice case I guess.

    Antec One Mid-Tower Gaming Case
    EVGA Supernova 750W Power Supply
    ASUS Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Z87 DDR3 Motherboard
    Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4GHZ Processor
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB Memory
XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GB 4.8GHZ Video Card
    ADATA SX900 256GB SSD

I threw in an extra fan into the case, but it was rather loud, so I left it disconnected. I put in another ssd, I think it was a kingston 240gb.

Next upgrade will be perhaps a cpu cooler. Perhaps the Corsair H80i, I know for sure the H100 won't fit...

That with the i7-4790, nVidia GeForce GTX 760 and upgraded the 8GB of RAM to 16. BTW for those looking at this PC it takes DDR3 laptop RAM, not full size.

I am pretty happy with this PC so far, only had it a little under a month. I wish OpenGL would stop crashing though.

How has it not caught fire and exploded yet?
That cooling system looks... Awful is an understatement. Console-like is more like it. No idea how it manages to keep a CPU with an 84W TDP below maximum operating temps. It would also seem the graphics card is completely starved for air, all because they didn't include a side vent for the sake of good looks.

I'm working on getting my PC upgrade If it's possible. If I can't I will be buying a new own or building my own. Not sure what my price range is.
    Any recommendations?

It seems to work pretty well, the fans blow a good bit of air out when they are up to speed.

After a quick test, the case fans blow a lot of air out, had maybe 10+ T65 Cargo Box Uplifts on the new highway terrain mod, FPS dipped to about 10-. Drove them, changed gravity, CPU temp didn't touch 70 (stayed about 66-68). Fans hovered around 3000 RPMs. Video card didn't blow as much out as I thought but it kept working, I did the test for about 5 minutes, and recorded video...which I cannot find...

They claim it "has a thermal design that takes advantage of natural convection, with a hidden airflow channel that ensures efficient heat management..." but I would rather put my trust in somewhat noisy fans. Hearing my 8800GT's fan whine when I throw graphics on high for some screenshots is strangely comforting. Let's me know that it's doing its job.

I'd rather throw a liquid cooling loop at it. Small radiator on the side for the CPU, plus a little vent for the GPU, done.

Fan whine and comforting look weird in the same sentence.

I'm surprised at $1500 that rog G20 doesn't come with a self-contained cooler or something. But hey, the keyboard and mouse are included.

Hitting the cooldown button for my MSI 970 is quite satisfying. The fans are really quiet even at 100% speed though.

I didn't think my 7870 was that loud. But I guess it hums a little louder than my girlfriends gtx750.

I'd probably just go ahead and build a desktop if you're looking to play games with your computer. There isn't much room for upgrading in a laptop, so I'd start with finding a budget for your computer and working from there.

    Specs!

Looking to upgrade to a i7 - 3770k. A little dated, but i'm holding on to this motherboard. Took a while to source it.
After the CPU upgrade, new PSU and a second 970 :)

All this is wrapped up in one of these:
