    Ok, so April fool’s day is pretty much over now. Isn't it? Hope you enjoyed “flying the plane” as much as I did :p. It was great fun to make that billboard. 100% worth it. No ragrets xD.

    Sorry if it annoyed or disappointed some of you, not my intention. What do you prefer, no release at all, or the release of some crazy surprise “vehicle”? lol :p.

    I’m happy most of you enjoyed it! Haha.

    Now, back to being serious, version 0.3.7.8 kind of f**cked up the controls of the plane, the custom sounds... and other stuff. So fixing that is my priority right now, but it’s proving to be more difficult than I expected :p. That said, the new version seems to bring a lot of new cool stuff that I cannot wait to implement.

    Note: I’ll keep the “released plane” here attached in this post because #YOLO. Drop the zip (without extracting) to /Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods and have fun! :)
    (though sound sometimes doesn’t work in 0.3.7.8, or it gets stuck for the other vehicles too and other stuff... but still..)

    I too forgot yesterday was the holiday we all know and 'love'. After downloading and loading it it up I couldn't stop laughing! :p Prankster mode 9000!

    Whenever this is ready I will be thrilled to have a new plane to fly around, I've been waiting for a proper stunt plane since DrowySam's flying Bolide was released. Many stunt flight videos and tons of fun will follow. your model looks fantastic, obviously a lot of work and time has gone into it.

    You deserve a medal sir, and a fine bottle of scotch! Really looking forward to giving this a go once it's ready. I'm very happy April fools only comes around once a year as well.. Fool me once..

    not to be bugging you but we are still waiting to have this plane :) can you atleast release the wip you have done? well i downloaded the "Plane" and i would like to call you many words at this moment in time but the moderators would ban me but then get me a job a websters dictionary due to the number of words used to describe what you are

    Why are you mentioning this now? He removed the April Fools version 5 days ago, and he's still working on completing it. Asking for a download never gets you anywhere, even if you do it nicely.

    Such a nice looking little plane CarlosAir! Really looking forward to its final release, excellent job man! Thanks! And this is what happens when this type of aircraft collides midair.
    Mid-air crash of two small single engine Zlin Z-526 red planes from the AZL Zelazny aerobatics team slamming into each other and exploding into fragments at the Radom Air Show on September 1, 2007. See if you can spot the dead pilot.

    Damn. Those are not nice pictures to be looking at. :| May they rest in peace :|
    I actually remember looking at those same pictures some time ago while doing my research, I watched many images of crashed aerobatic planes as references :|

    Atm, BeamNG is not able to simulate that much level of debris on crashes as seen on the images. That's not really how jbeam works, there will only be very big chunks breaking apart unfortunately. I'm doing my best anyway. :p

    Been following this for a while now, and i'm really excited for it :)

    Dude, there is no stress here to release the mod, take your time, and release it when you feel comfortable its finished :)

    Nope. It's pretty much finished. I'm just waiting for the repo thing. We'll see what happens.

    @Carlosair I am very excited for this mod to come out, as well as everybody else here. If you are planning on having a variety of different plane textures to choose from, make sure to contact me as well as whoever is currently texturing it for you!     Will there be a version compatible with the Roll, Pitch & Yaw axis that have been added or will it only use the old system?

    It will launch with one "livery" by default (though with working color selector, so there's plenty of variety) . That said, I encourage anyone who wants to create their own, even though the UV sucks a lot :p. I guess I wil share the psd files so you can create your own textures.

    Afaik, those are not ready yet, and shouldn't be used, I don't even think they'd work. So no, sorry. It will come with the "old system". But as soon as BeamNG supports aircraft input controls natively (which is planned), I'll make this aircraft use them. I'm very much looking forward to that :p
