So first of all, big thanks goes to B25Mitch who is the creator of his Explosive Propane Tank. I decided to modify his work to create an explosive barrel, which does stronger kickback and a bit more damage. (imported from here) (imported from here) As you can see there is also a glow effect. (imported from here) (imported from here) Also, if you want, you can decrease or increase explosion force. Open up jbeam file of this prop in any text editor, find line "{"frictionCoef":2.5}," and edit the value. I recommend using values from 1 to 10. UPDATE: - Made the mesh more complex, added normal and specular maps
Nice, but that barrel model is really too simple IMO. Why not use the BeamNG Barrel and re-texture it?
I was thinking of something simple because performance is important when someone decides to blow up a car with 20 of these . But if you really want, I will add more detail to the model. EDIT: Request accepted and updated.
There seems to be a texture problem on my end. the texture shows up white. looking at the materials in material editor, there is no propane material, like in materials.cs. The only material not in the materials.cs is called "_01" im gonna rename it to propane and see if that fixes it. --edit--- well cant do that. the dae cant be imported. its looking for files on your user account. heres a pic of blender console with your name blanked out
It looks like the materials are screwed up. I will look at it and see if there is any solution. Took the download down for now. EDIT: Might have fixed it, try it now. EDIT2: After testing i found out it lost the explosion texture.
