Update Speculation thread

so during the maintenance, tdev sent teasers for a proof of concept fueling animation / fuel moving in the fuel tank. pretty amazing

 

This may be the first time that we received teaser so early after the release of the update.

 

Wow I love that hope it comes to the game

 

If they’ll get that working, I bet they’d be able to add air hoses to semi trailers

We have had teasers in devblogs before, so depends if you count those. The Bastion had a teaser in the 0.24 devblog and the FCV was first teased in the 0.18.3 devblog

 

Wait this means we need all cars to have fuel doors

 

It’s worth pointing out too that the Percheron has the Adblue diesel exhaust fluid fill/washer fluid fill in the front fascia. Do we think it may be other fluids besides fuel? Possibly coolant as well?

 

It's for the blinker fluid, did you not watch Muye's video? /s

 

I'm 99 percent sure it's just a coolant reservoir. The Percheron predates the wide-scale adoption of adblue.

 

my mate andy is an actual lorry mechanic, check out his video for in-depth detail into the percheron. he confirms that it is a coolant reservoir

 

now that we have European truck wheels in game, I'd like to see a transit bus remaster bc in North America, newer transit buses around the era (mid 90s) from manufacturers like Orion and New Flyer use the European hub diameter rather than the North American hub diameter found on semi trucks for their wheels
