I I currently use this pc, 5090 w/ 9800X3D, and I’ve had literally zero issues with the connector tbh I don’t think it depends on the brand either I think most of the problems come from people not connecting it in all the way, even if it does burn, it’s like a 1% chance. Don’t worry too much about those Reddit posts, most of it is just human error.
Wait, you actually have a 5775c? I've been looking into getting one! Does it perform much better than a 4790 or 4790K?
Ryzen 7 9700X Rtx 9070 XT 64gb ddr5 @6400 mt/s 4K UHD Running on Nobara so already vulcan Ultra everything, getting 120 fps alone and between 60 to 70 when i max out traffic and spawn cops in west coast! Still has a bit of a stutter for some reason
Intel Core i3 1215U, 24 GB DDR4 3200 RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 820, 117 GB NVMe SSD. I get around 35 fps on west coast with 2 traffic cars, including parked.
I've got a laptop with a 2050, 64gb ddr5 and a 12th gen i5 and I run it at 30-50fps at medium to low graphics (I have over 1000 mods though)
i should update this to say I HAVE A NEW LAPTOP its a lenovo legion 5 pro 10 gen. AMD Ryzen 7 260 w/ Radeon 780M Graphics (3.80 GHz) 16 gbs of ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU (8 GB) AMD Radeon(TM) 780M Graphics (512 MB)
It does if you overclock it. Mine did 4.1ghz on stock voltage, and paired with DDR3 2133 ram it ran pretty good for what it was, performs a bit better than a heavily overclocked 4790k with a lot less power consumption and heat.
