Unfortunately, I have no idea which mods add 4-speed transmissions, I'm not super well-versed in the parts/configs side of things. sorryyy ;v; I'm at least hoping the redone configs will be a substantial improvement to the current outdated ones (they definitely feel like they are so far). For example, the redone Burnside configs use the 3-speed that came with the newly-added vanilla Stock Car config. also OH MY GOD???? DAYTONA BEACH LETS GOOOOO i've been hoping someone would do something like this for SO long oh my god i'm so hyped now!! PLEASE let me know if/when this gets released, i will download it in a heartbeat :>
oh my goodness those look BEAUTIFUL!! especially that off-road one, it looks like it would be so fun to drive!! idk if you're type of person to share your builds, but if you are i would love to try that one out :> also i hit the Agree button on the post instead of the Like button and now it wont let me take the rating off lmao ;v;
I dunno if that's what you want but maybe try this for the wendover https://www.beamng.com/resources/nascar-soliad-wendover-winston-cup-car.19598/ And I think this one maybe but i'm not sure.. https://www.beamng.com/resources/ceep-classic-engine-expansion-pack.29161/
I'll have to give these a shot. Tyvm Honestly I shouldn't take too too long atp, mostly trying to work out some sound emitters and balancing their volumes against the Burnside's engine. Really glad there's a mod like yours being made as well.
I think it's another mod that the creator of DFA is working on, though I'm not completely sure about that.
I have some news to share with you all... EVERY SKIN IN THE PACK IS FINISHED WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Though, this doesn't mean the pack is 100% ready just yet. What's left to do? Well... - I need to go into the materials files for each car and adjust the values in there, so that way the light reflects off the car in the right way. It would look weird if 40s cars were super glossy or 2020s cars were super matte. - Configs are still being worked on. I do not know when they will be finished, but I hope it will be soon. Configs are finished. - I need to write a full changelog for this update and list out all the things that have been added or overhauled. - I need to retake the promotional screenshots for the mod's repo page. - I might make images to show off each skin on the landing page "spotters' guide" style. - I might also make a video showcasing the before-and-after of all the schemes that have changed. As you can see, there's still a few things that need to be done before this update can be released publicly. And because I don't know exactly how long it will take, I'm afraid to give out any estimates. I can say it'll come out Soon(tm) but that's not an answer everyone's gonna be happy with. It will be released to the repository when it's finished and no later than that. In the meantime, I'll give you guys one final sneak peek before the update releases. Hope you enjoy! :> (note: configurations are not final and may appear different in the finished release!)
The update is now pending approval and will be available to all within the next few days (maybe even tomorrow if I'm lucky!) I hope everyone enjoys the update that I've spent over two years putting together :> I just hope there's no bugs, there shouldn't be any since I tested it with all other mods disabled but I'm still super anxious about it lmao
lumbud84 updated The Oval Track Skin Pack [OTSP] / Stock Car Skins and Configs with a new update entry: MAJOR UPDATE! Brand new configs and 110 new liveries Read the rest of this update entry...
Oh and one more thing! I figured people would want to see every skin at once without having to manually scroll through the paint design dropdown, so I decided to make some images showcasing all of them! I would have included these in the main post, but there's a 10 image upload limit there, so I'll add them here! Enjoy!
