What do y’all think about BeamNG adding vehicle time-aging?

Like if you leave a car sitting somewhere and advance the in-game date by 10–15 years, it could slowly get rusty, dusty, have flat/aged tires, faded paint, and maybe even have grass/moss growing around it.

Would be pretty cool if cars actually showed their age depending on where they were left. What do y’all think?

Most cars in-game looks like have just left showroom. I think, first devs step is more skins, making the car look as if it has already been in use for several years. Next step - dynamical dusting. What you are proposing is too ambitious at the moment.

Yeah, step by step. One (to my judgemente necessary) feature the game should have eventually is vehicle age and mileage, regardless of other factors. A big part of car driving comes from their age, and all cars in Beam feel like brand new.

Yeah it would be cool if on top of visual wear you could set the mileage (in freeroam through a menu) or in career if high mileage cars are more likely to break/ have other issues. It feels unnatural for every vehicle to start at 0 miles
