the drawing reminds me of the new MB Actros without the weird droopy nose on the lower section, headlights/fascia reminds me of the Daf XF, but i am no truck lover so who knows
I mean Poland too but here we are (which is sad, we could have gotten a canadian brand). Turkey used to have a brand named Anadol. They made a pretty cool looking car imo
I think it's possible for the devs to add a Turkish vehicle to the game, but I don't think they'd want to until they get more popular nations (like Sweden, the UK, Australia, or Brazil) on the roster. I've included some examples of Turkish vehicles below: Spoiler: Turkish Vehicles They are known for building trucks - Askam built trucks under the Fargo, Dodge, Chrysler and DeSoto brands until 2007. (The red conventional below are from the '70s and '80s, while the cabover Fargo Hi-Ex is from the 2000s.) BMC Otomotiv produces the BMC Tugra (available in 4x2, 6x2, 8x2, 6x4, and 8x4, as shown below). And also, there have been quite a few Turkish car models over the years, like the Tulomsas Devrim (their first, 1961, white) and the Anadol A1 (designed by Ogle, 1966, red). And they've license-built several car models, like the Fiat 124/131 (Tofas Murat/Sahin) and the Renault 12 (Renault Toros). And there are also quite a few bus manufactures (like BMC and Boronkay). There is/was? also a sports car brand called Etox (Zafer in black), but I'm not sure how many vehicles they've made. Torg3 found evidence of a Wentward refresh in the near future (possibly 0.40), including a bike rack and mudflaps. Technically, yes, the FCV trio are all one car. However, that's like calling the Mk3 Audi TT, Mk7 VW Golf, and Mk3 Skoda Octavia the same car. They all share the same platform, but they're clearly designed for different purposes and different markets. The FCV's like a modern counterpart to the Wendover/LeGran/Lansdale trio, but with more similarities between each model. I really hope it's Swedish - that's one of the few things from the old concept list yet to still happen (along with a '60s European GT car). And it'd make perfect sense for this truck to be Swedish, too - they've got two major truck brands (Volvo and Scania) that have both had some participation in the US (Scania sold some trucks in the '80s and '90s, and Volvo's been making trucks here under their own brand since 1986 (below is a '92 FE6). The construction equipment could've been our first To be honest, as much as I love the Wydra, it is a bit odd that the devs chose to make it Polish. It's not totally out there (see: Sherp, made in Ukraine), and I am glad that the Wydra's from a new nation instead of another US/Japanese vehicle. But it just seems like a missed opportunity to add Canada to the roster with one of the iconic Canadian vehicle types.
I think that's actually twice now... someone on the dev team must be allergic to maple syrup or something. (not my photo)
Has anyone noticed that the angled fuel filler tube is clearly seen in the latest teaser?? If the angle we see in this teaser is the front one, then how does this placement make sense since the truck is a flat-face cabover unit?? The first thing I thought of, combined with the Wentward badge, is that this is some kind of bus and we're seeing the rear end of it!
Not false. But the bottom lights don't look like backlight like in the Wentward DT40L. Also, the wheels ar to near the front single wheel (and not dual wheels like we can found it in the propulsion axles) Also, is it me or the engine looks like a V-engine ? I might be wrong in this point but, does someone figure it out ?
This is most definitely the front of a eu rig, you can see the hinges for the hood and cab, along with headlights and a design for the front bumper, what you're seeing is a filling neck for coolant or some other fluid like for the windshield washers.
Not sure about the v, because the generator is to the side, but i’s also have that side generator. Plus, it looks tall, like a i, but it could be just me being stupid. Anyway, any ideas on what the oblong circle in the bottom left is? It looks hand drawn, as if something was circled to draw attention, although I can’t really see anything there…
I don't see any hinges, tbh... And the headlights could very well be the taillights. Also, ok, it's a coolant or windshield washer filler neck. But still, how much sense does this make in a cabover? I mean, the cab leans forward when it opens for accessing the engine in this design, so the liquid also sloshes around inside its tank. --- Post updated --- It's a single wheel we see, huh? It's confusing... (And it has to be. It's a BeamNG teaser after all! )
I think so. Another part we can see is the side air diffuser on the up right, next to the "eron" name. I have to think this cab could be a low cab, with the engine bay showing up in the cabin. I would like to see a high cab with some spaces when standing and a flat floor. Two more questions for me. Is it possible to walk inside a vehicle like this truck ? And could they had the hydraulic retarder ?
It is 100% the front end of a european truck, we can tell because of the very pronounced side aero ducts. The shape of them also tells us this is an older model. Probably 2000's -ish.
New teaser, it's interesting how many PS5 teasers we've been getting. --- Post updated --- for once I thought I was first but oh well
I never realized how much the K needs side exhaust until that photo... Seeing the lighting on that dogleg panel just draws my attention to it...
How are we feeling about a possible September release? 0.37 came out last year on the 16th, which is also a Wednesday this year too. My guess would be between then and the 30th for 0.40. The only thing is that we’re not sure it’s ready yet. Have we had an October release ever? Someone with better info let me know please
I remember when the K-Series was planned to have a V10 and V12 - but the V10 ended up in the Scintilla and the V12 still hasn't happened yet. We have had three October releases: -0.4.3 (31st, 2015) -0.7 (5th, 2016) -0.14 (30th, 2018) However, all three of those releases were many years ago. We've had more major September releases (five), four of them have been in the past five years, and all of them have been around World Children's Day in Germany (the 20th): -0.4.2 (18th, 2015) -0.26 (19th, 2022) -0.30 (20th, 2023) -0.33 (18th, 2024) -0.37 (16th, 2025) So, yeah, I don't think we're getting 0.40 in October. However, if 0.40 were to drop on the 16th of September, it'd break a new record for the shortest major update gap since 0.25, at just 49 days. (Currently, that's held by 0.36 (which released 76 days after 0.35).) I guess the engine sounds are harder to get for a V12 compared to a V8 or V10. For the Scintilla, I can understand it having a V10 - it's meant to be a cheaper supercar (like the Huracan/F8/570S), and a V10 would be lighter and smaller than a V12 of the same capacity. The T/TC could've gotten a V12 (similar to the DD 12V71) in its remaster, and the HT-55 also could've gotten a V12. However, I think that the devs intended the T/WL V8 to be similar to the Cat 3408 - that's also 18L and was used in both wheel loaders (the Cat 988B) and several models of semi truck (like the Peterbilt 359).
