Thank you for the additional report. I'm guessing the issue is isolated to some setups; it could be an interoperability issue. I'll have to dig further.
That’s good to hear! I’m hoping it’s a one-off issue. If there’s any more issue down the line, please let me know.
I love this layout you put together, is there a way you can share this and/or tell us how it's done? Thank you Edit: I figured it out
Gotta love this mod, so refreshing for the game! One thing, for me, TAWS voice mixes up with TTS voice when descending (100 to 10 altittude commands), is there any way I can disable TTS voice and just leave TAWS one? Thank you
Awesome work as usual. Reporting another minor issue. If you pause and resume gameplay the label mph under the speed text shows kmph even the numbers still reflect mph. This is on the single gauge after adding speed text.
Could you make the MFD alone vertically resizable? I have a setup where I have the vanilla tacho on the right and the MFD on the left. However, the MFD scales bidirectionally, and I just want the Radar segment to be slightly larger, without taking any horizontal space.
Thank you ! You can choose which alert warning system plays via the Flight page in the Global settings page for the mod here - there is still a lot of work that I need to do with the aural warning and conditional activation for them so they don't speak over one another. Currently, it just goes by priority value, which doesn't work too well (there are also placeholder voicelines and some that are TTS-based and real voice lines). There's currently no way to pick between them, but I will add a toggle for it somewhere) I'm also still looking for voice recording samples for these that I can redistribute in a mod safely; the ones in the mod right now are under Creative Commons, and it's not the best quality: Thanks for the flag, both of you! - I'll look into these and hopefully fix it by the next update. Horizontal based MFD/Layouts are coming. I'm also going to allow free-resizing for standalone MFD once that comes as well. Please use the Squared MFD version for now(Placeable via the plain HiStakes - Gauge) if you need the horizontal space. --- Post updated --- This reminds me, I also have a plan to implement a "Share code" or export the presets as a JSON file to import. This will be needed because there's currently no way to back up anything, and it should also help with sharing setups as well.
Here's a preview of what I have been working on over the week. I was laying the foundation for a persistent data management and sharing feature for the mod. This will enable easy sharing of created layouts/palettes and also complete backups of your entire mod settings. This will also enable a BYOF (Bring Your Own Files) feature for Fonts and Gauge backgrounds in the future as well. (The interface will be accessible directly from the Main menu or via the global settings page on the Mods tab of the Pause menu.)
Love your mod, but the fuel economy display is slightly glitchy as it switches units randomly and gives contradicting values. The gauge itself here reads ~23, however my game is set to mpg and as seen on the right above the blue bar (fuel economy in mpg that is known to be accurate), the actual economy is 29mpg. The main issue however is that the readout on the gauge gives a numerical value of 28.7 but has posted units in l/100km after I opened and closed the radial menu, before which the gauge gave a matching reading and the unit was written as mpg instead of l/100km. This is also simply an incorrect and contradictory value as 28.7 is the mileage in mpg but this readout has a suffix of l/100km. I also do not know where it got the number 23 from as the conversion of 23l/100km equals 10mpg. I just wanted to let you know about this minor issue with your mod, though it is not game breaking I thought it would be helpful. Thanks for making this though.
Thank you for raising this, I suspect it’s my mistake on the code that reads the game preferences for user units settings and the gauge is either ignoring the parameters and falling back while the label remains. Likely when I make the change from km/l(which works similar to MPG calculation) to l/100km as it’s an inverse of how MPG works. It should be an easy fix I’ll look into getting including it in the next update.
Hi, I noticed an issue with the presentation menu on the combo gauge, trying to access it makes the gauge flicker and the console spits out these warning lines, see spoiler: Spoiler 3254.849|I|GELua.HiStakes_widgets_gaugeFaceCache.HiStakesGaugeFaceCache|faceCommit(combo-tach-uj6yg7w5): b64=118580 -> png=88935 bytes @ /temp/HiStakes/gauge-face-combo-tach-uj6yg7w5-mtpyowqa-s360.png 3257.378|I|GELua.HiStakes_widgets_compositor.HiStakesCompositor|soft-orphaned 3 instance(s): combo-speedo-inset-r0s1-uj6yg7w5, combo-speedo-inset-r0s0-uj6yg7w5, combo-tach-inset-r0s0-uj6yg7w5 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4|[Vue warn]: Property "faceHasItalic" was accessed during render but is not defined on instance. 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <BngGroupPanel class="hs-settings-section" title="Value Readout" hint="" > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <SettingsGroup key=0 title="Value Readout" > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <SoloGaugesPane vm= [object Object] > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <ComboSettingsPanel vm= [object Object] > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <App > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <ModComponent key="vue-hiStakesCombo-10-0" file="/ui/modules/apps/HiStakesCombo/app.vue" file-refresh=false > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <AppHost item= [object Object] rect-px= [object Object] prevent-uinav="" > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <OverlayItem key="hiStakesCombo-10" item= [object Object] rect-px= [object Object] ... > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <Overlay ref="overlayRef" items= [object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object] resolve=fn<resolveUiAppPlacement> ... > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <UiAppsOverlay class="app-uiapps-overlay" > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <AsyncComponentWrapper class="app-uiapps-overlay" > 3259.616|W|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/runtime.js:4| at <App> 3259.616|E|CEF.MainGEUI#local://local/ui/ui-vue/dist/base.js:19|[MOD] Component error in /ui/modules/apps/HiStakesCombo/app.vue render function TypeError: _ctx.faceHasItalic is not a function 3260.220|I|GELua.HiStakes_widgets_gaugeFaceCache.HiStakesGaugeFaceCache|faceCommit(combo-tach-uj6yg7w5): b64=118580 -> png=88935 bytes @ /temp/HiStakes/gauge-face-combo-tach-uj6yg7w5-mtpype2v-s1.png Also, I cannot disable the other traffic from showing up in the minimap, even with the option disabled the MFD still draws the other cars in the minimap. Apart from this, it's an excellent mod, keep up the good work!
Hey y'all! More content preview of the upcoming Vanilla Tacho2-based Vanilla+ cluster and some of the customization options demonstrated. This is designed for those who want a more Vanilla-like experience (with drivetrain/drivemodes controls integrated too!)
Thank you for the flags! I have already fixed the Presentation menu for the combo page; it should be out very soon. Waiting for devs to approve it. As for the minimap showing AI/Traffic cars, I'm still in the process of debugging this; I should have it fixed by the next update.
