Thats odd, to me it's better than in 0.38, but anyways car_killer said it was going to be improved next update --- Post updated --- That's automation test track
Very valid concern, other games have struggled with getting animated textures look right with upscalers as well. It has to do with the lack of motion vectors on the animated texture. I hope beam devs found a solution to this! Even in cockpit view when you're moving? It can look better than before when nothing's moving for a second.
Yeah! These upscalers let you get away with rendering at lower than your display resolution while having better image quality(less aliasing and shimmering) up to a point. That means better performance in GPU limited situations. If you're mostly CPU limited though it won't do all that much. I think it should help offset the performance degradation from the better 0.39 visuals for most people. I notice that devs didn't implement upscaling quality presets. Wouldn't that confuse most people who don't know what they really mean in terms of percentage of native resolution? It's likely no big deal though and people will do fine
I really appreciate being able to change the percentage manually though, most of the time the quality preset on fsr3 is around 60% which tends to be too low for 1080p screens so this is perfect
How much of a performance gain can we expect from DLSS 4.5 when upscaling 1080p to 4K on RTX 40 and 50 series cards?
This really heavily depends on your system and whether you're CPU or GPU limited. If you're fully CPU bottlenecked, like most PCs running BeamNG, it won't increase frame rate at all. I don't think this can be generalized.
Am I the only one to see radial blur on the Ardente's wheels at the end of the teaser ? Or is it an effect of FSR3/PSSR ?
"That's exactly what I was figuring — a scenario where it's all about the GPU! I wonder if the devs could share any results from their own PC configurations?"
Ok so this whole time I was sad that I couldn't use vulkan because I couldn't change resolution to anything but native and now there will be native resolution scaling, lol. (I did figure out how to switch resolution in vulkan, you first make your selection, then press alt+enter to switch to windowed, and after pressing alt+enter again it should go into your selected resolution)
heads-up for the devs (regarding DLSS), i have the feeling people will "improve" DLSS and force model L or newer on their RTX 10, 20 or 30 cards which will impact FPS quite a bit (pascal, turing and ampere do not suport this) as FP8 is not available on that hardware. maybe good to include DLSS model used in the main log for when people send them in reporting issues or whatever.
I hope the new european truck can have a similar gearbox as the Actros MP3 can have (manual 16-speeds, EPS (Electronic PowerShift) 16-speeds and automatic 12-speeds). The Electronic PowerShift contain the manual 16-speeds with a joystick instead the manual shifter : - The gearbox is a 8-speeds gearbox (each speed are split into Lo/Hi) - At the start you're in neutral - Select the first gear or second (with the choice between Lo/Hi) - Still in neutral, press the clutch pedal - The truck will choose the selected gear - Depress slowly the clutch pedal, with the accelerator - Accelerate to shift up (first/second gear to third of fourth) - Select the gear with the joystick to third or fourth - Press the clutch to let the truck engages the selected gear - Depress the clutch and accelerate On the joystick, there is three more buttons (first to choose reverse speed, the second between Lo/Hi, and the third to put on neutral).
I've accidentally unwatched all my threads so I've used your profile to get back here after randomly finding you and lmfao I forgot you quoted me on your profile.
