60 fps LOCKED! :c

Hello!

Just got sli in my pc! got
2xgtx 770 4gb sli
and amd fx8350 overclock to 4.5ghz!
got a 4k monitor from samsung 28 590d

I got problems with locked 60 fps!!!
I see i can come over 60 fps and i always get frame drop! Also 1440p!
All settings are on normal with out postfx! and antiliasing !
But i get 60 fps all the time! but when something smoke come then i go down on 50 fps why cant i go over 60 fps? :c

 

Game was locked at 60fps for the time being.

 

Your monitor is incapable of displaying over 60FPS. Don't see why you'd want more.

 

Unless your monitor supports over a 60hz refresh rate, or you have an Oculus Rift DK2 (as I do), which support isn't even implemented for yet, then there's no reason you would need to exceed the 60FPS cap.
That said, the developers have mentioned that the cap is likely temporary.
