I4 and V6 factory, V8 aftermarket. that's at least. maybe something else too, but factory options will be gasoline I4 and V6
hi everyone! kinda sad news but they're okay after all. i'll be absent for ~2 weeks and will be able to come back to modding only after these 2 weeks. that's okay because i'll come back and 1) mainly focus on brutto brute, 2) fix/make better the grander/myrmidon mod with the help of some awesome people, 3) slowly, after completely completing the (2), return to the HHSP as a side/parallel project to the brute. thanks for understanding!
i really doubt the mod is ready for a beta release yet. im guessing it started around start of July, and n0m had a 2 week break from modding. and BeamNG mods generally tend to take several months until they're ready for release. just be patient.
I was asking because in the screen shots from the first post it looked like the brute was driving and there has been mods that fully realized in worse shape
all the screenshots show is that the car spawns in the game. due to the fact photo mode pauses the physics, we can't tell if the car is in motion or just stationary in locations that would look nice. for all we know, it might not even had an engine at that stage just wait, seriously. it'll come out when its ready
it's highly doubtful that i will give any files for testing because i don't want to risk the mod being released by other people or something like it. i'm somewhat wrapping up the grander/myrmidon and hopefully there will be an influx of stuff on brute
finally, some update! i've moved to the up-to-date blender not that long ago, and because of that the program acted somewhat funky with the .blend files made in the older versions. at one point, blender refused to open brute's .blend file, so i had to import the .dae and with that, lost some mesh details. some time was spent on reverting the damage, so to speak. but that's okay. i took some time looking at how the slate truck is made and found an interesting article discussing slate's rear suspension. it uses the De Dion suspension, a unique, cool "mix" of torsion beam and, idk, live axle suspensions? it's a very interesting article and the concept itself is interesting. that's why i want to recreate it. as you can see from the pictures: 1) there are EV and ICE layouts, with both rear wheel and all wheel drive supports 2) the brute utilizes MacPherson front suspension and De Dion rear suspension 3) rear suspension can be either a trailing arm one or a leaf spring one. SUVs will utilize the trailing arm one and the pickup will utilize the leaf spring one, i believe 4) as of now, the engine meshes are Bruckell/Brutto-Bruckell I4, Bruckell V6 and V8. I want to make custom meshes for the Brutto I4, V6 and V8, but that's later
finally a new pickup! i wish there was more pickup truck mods in beam. hopefully someday we get a more modern pickup or midsize pickup like a ranger or hilux ive gotten pretty bored of the old d-series
