And it's not written on the patch notes

I'll try using semi-race pads on both Arsenic and Frisson and see how well they work

Update: 0.39.4 changed back to semi-race

Just noticed two more things and they're about all 3 FCVs.
    1) The cars have to get separate automatic gear shifters for the ICE and EV variants, like the SBR4 and ESBR models have.
As the situation is right now, the Tograc E and Vivace E models have a shifter that doesn't depict the Manual +/- mode on it because, naturally, they don't need it. But this same shifter in the ICE Tograc and Vivace models can be put into Manual mode.
The situation is the exact reverse for the Ardente E, however. The automatic shifter does depict the Manual mode, which is useful for the ICE variants, but it can't be put into it, again because it isn't needed in the EVs.
    2) Without the Stage 3 Turbocharger equipped, the C 310 ECU Stage 2 and C 310 ECU Stage 3 for the 2.0 turbocharged gasoline Inline-4 seem to have been broken with the 0.39. They're supposed to be making more hp/tq than the C 310 ECU Stage 1 but they're not.

The EU light bar is extremely dim at all times. Apart from the Ardente, every car with this light bar has this issue. 20260805015858_1.jpg

I agree that ICE and EV models should use different shifter. However, you can technically re-use the +/- to adjust regenerate braking. Unfortunately it's not implemented in-universe, you have to use the redial menu which is a gameplay mechanic.

It has had them for many years... why would you think it doesn't, I don't think there is a single material left on any vehicle that isn't PBR

I would hope so they'd add the hinges to at least the H-Series since the doors on that one can be seen literally floating off the body when opened.

I had never thought of that. It's very interesting, actually. Kinda reminds me of the Jake Brake mechanic, which you turn on/off and adjust with buttons on the dashboard of the T-Series. And it would be useful for both the electric FCVs and the ESBRs. And, essentially, only the shifter for the Tograc and the Vivace would have to be remodelled!

Here are some bugs and issues i found with the Ardente as of version 0.39.2

    - Final drives of all Ardente factory configs using "2.0L diesel engine" with "diesel 6 speed manual" feel way too short.
They should use "3.389:1" final drive.

    - "Sport Exhaust" is completely unused on any configs.

    - Roof scoop visually leads to nowhere, It's missing the interior ceiling vent.

    - RWD transfer case seems broken and is missing it's driveshaft model.

    Ardente Carabinieri:
    • It's description says it has AWD when it doesn't.
    • Speed limiter is lower than the pure 190d it seems to be based on, it should be 230 km/h.

    - "Ardente S" screen branding is a copy-paste of the "Ardente E" version,
in the factory Configs both the "S" and "E" screen branding remain unused.

    - Some black interior Ardente configs have their Interior design say "Select" instead of one of the options.

After more testing on this I noticed it have something to do with differentials too.
It happens more likely when using Race Limited slip Diffs. Normal LSD will do it too, less but it does. Open diff will lead to the same damage to engine, sometimes with less effort than lsd.
Somehow welded diff is the one that last longer before getting the damage.
Previously working configs with around 600 to 800hp trhough a Rally AWD transfercase stops having the issue just changing differentials to welded ones.

This is kinda good to find as it starts to seem like a bug and not an intended feature (which is no good to keep simulating Ken Block's Gymkhana driving style).
I believe its some kind of "vibration to impact" damage coming from a bad frequency (from engine to wheel parts) after the update.

it lacks customization, and honestly not the devs fault due to being rushed. It was supposed to be a coupe tho since that still being fixed fcv sedan mod exists

    Two more details to fix!
The Gendarmerie, Police, Polizei and Polizia texts of the EU Lightbar don't light up.
And the Strut Bar, apart from having to be part of the S variants, like I said, also needs some better textures than that simple white finish it has right now, making it look like a broken mod or something. It must get a look more like that of the Strut Bars of the modern ETKs. :)

    Unplayable™ mistake:

Tyre pattern is correct but mounted inside-out. The outer shoulder on performance tyres should be the widest rib with the main grooves closer to the inner shoulder. You'd want the widest rib on the outside shoulder for the car to lean on during hard cornering for reduced tread block deformation or 'squirm' from dynamic friction/slip angle. A nice side effect of which is closer main groove grouping toward the inner shoulder which with greater negative camber associated with competitive driving conveniently assists with water dispersion on the straights, the opposite of which is depicted below on the Ardente. There's more to it, especially with irregular wear resistance but those are the headlines.

Sort of recall the same tyre texture is common when I saw the same mistake on the Scintilla when that was released.

For reference, see Bridgestone Potenza Race. RE-71RS, RE-71RZ, RE-070.
Technically also RE003, RE004, and RE005 as the 'A-shape groove' is not a true main groove. You'll also notice this on Michelin Pilot Sport, ContiMaxContact, and Pirelli P Zero products, among most other performance-oriented products from other brands.

Light bar text only works in Chase mode, as irl it's tied to the red stop light which only works in that mode

Oh, interesting I didn't realize that. I remember a time when vehicles would receive PBR updated interior materials per update. I must have missed when the D-Series got them and figured it was still on the to-do list along with replacing the wipers and manual gear stick with the models from the MD series. The other one I assumed wasn't PBR yet is the Wendover's off-state instrument panel, as it reacts to light differently than the powered on textures.

EDIT- In fact, I went back and found the exact post where I got that idea from. It's from the MD thread.
