Issue: Since updating to BeamNG version 0.39 (and persisting with v0.39.1), certain elements on the road of the default maps, and cars have been too reflective. This has lead to the roads appearing to be wet when they are dry. The issue is accentuated by increasing cloud cover. Appears with Dynamic Reflection on or off.

Experimenting in the World Editor, certain decals are the cause of the increased reflectivity on the road. On the West Coast map, this includes "track_rubber", "road_rubber_double" , "road_patches1", "track_road_sector#_decals", and even the "road_asphalt_2lane" to a lesser extent. So it appears to be any texture with rubbering plus the "road_asphalt" ones.

The issue is also visible on the reflections on the buildings which are very reflective, sometimes even slightly reflective in areas in which they shouldn't be. This is sort of visible on the corrugated building in the screenshots.

From speaking to other users with Intel Arc GPU's, this issue is particular to these GPU's. Other users with other brands have not have this reflectivity.

Steps to reproduce: Have an Intel Arc card, open the default West Coast map with any car (Cherrier FCV Ardente S 410Q Frisson (DCT) in default red used below). To accentuate issue, increase cloud cover to maximum.

    System Information:
    • OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
    • OS Version: 10.0.26200 Build 26200
    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-Core Processor, 3800 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
    • Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 32.0 GB DDR5 - 6000 (2x16GB)
    • GPU: Intel(R) Arc(TM) B580 Graphics
    • GPU Driver Version: 32.0.101.8860
    • Storage (game): Samsung 870 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
    Game Settings Used:
    Safe mode with D3D12 renderer
Default Normal preset at 2560x1440p in first screenshot (dynamic reflection off)
Normal preset at 2560x1440p in second screenshot (dynamic reflection on)

    Support ID: 263242

In addition to the above issue, I found that the reflections of bodies of water (like the ocean on West Coast) and the default cubemap for cars (player and AI) to be oddly bright.

This issue is still present on v0.39.2

    Hi there,

I am running in to the same issue with asphalt looking wet when it is cloudy due to too much reflections on the texture.

Funny enough I am running the exact same setup: (Apart from the ssd)
    - Intel Arc B580
    - Ryzen 7 9700X
    - 32 GB ram DDR5
    - 2k monitor
