Jumping topics, here is the PNG for rozzers so people dont need to download before seeing it. Hoping someone can figure out how to put this in the game because to my knowledge no one has ever made a skin for this car. And I still don't know why people think this mod needs to be updated, it's not like its broken or anything.
idk why your skin didnt work but i used your PNG to make this paint does affect it so use cytherean white or sum
has anyone else noticed this cars turn signals are really loud in 0.39? I noticed this on another mod with a custom startup bell so it's not just the avior update must have messed up modded audio sources or something
I'll have a look. I've got everything else up to date, so once I figure this out, the 1.0.13 update should be ready for release.
Just released 1.0.13! The changes are as follows: Main Mod Adjusted emissive intensity of all exterior light materials with emissive values, on both the Avior and Theria, to work with 0.39's new lighting changes. The majority of these now use the emissiveIntensityNits value. (Note: They have all been tuned so that they aren't completely blinding at the level of light you would get on a late evening, whilst not being impossible to see at broad daylight. They will be significantly dimmer than they were in 0.38 due to the new dynamic exposure.) Also adjusted all intensities of interior lighting materials. Added dimming gauges due to their new necessity with the update. This feature activates with the headlights. Added the new bulb system to all lights on the exterior (Avior and Theria) and interior (both hand drives). These changes mean that the domelights, boot lights, plate lights and entry puddle lights have been completely retuned and re-aimed, making them more effective. The headlights now also shine onto the front bumper, due to the new spotlight positions. (Note: the Avior's realistic headlight cookies have been kept rather than changing them to the official ones due to my preference.) Added proper names to all triggers to allow them to display correctly when the mouse is hovered over them. All configs are now split by domestic market in the vehicle selector. This means that the domestic market tags in config names (e.g. [UKDM]) have been removed, and the base model has now gained the "Standard" name. The Hirochi Theria is now a separate vehicle in the selector. (Note: The way BeamNG have made this work means that I had to keep "Procyon" as the company name, so I've named the car "Procyon [Hirochi] Theria" to make it clear that it's still a Hirochi.) Making use of the multi-paint system added in 0.37, each colour now has the correct secondary tone pre-assigned to it. As an example, this means that you can select "Cepheus Rose" in the vehicle selector and it will apply Cepheus Rose (Upper), Cepheus Rose (Lower) and the intended pinstripe colour for you. (Note: All of the individual Upper and Lower tones are still available in the vehicle customisation menu.) When the ESC mode is changed, the game now displays "ESC & TC On/Off" correctly rather than displaying a translation string. Other small changes which I may have forgotten about. Abused Addon Added all new features and implementations from the main mod accordingly. I'd strongly suggest downloading this one, as it vastly improves the way the lights look in the new lighting and also has a number of quality of life improvements. You can do that here!
Nice to see this getting updated! But I feel like the headlights are still way too bright? Here's a comparison between the EU variant and the ETK I-Series which I chose cause it's a euro spec car from a similar era. Pay attention to the exposure value to see why I think the brightness it too high and also the throw of the headlight is a little too wide/unrealistic.
i don't want to do this to you... ...but (note how only the left indicator is actually on. also the actual ficture (yes, im using automation lingo) technically works just fine, just the actual light being emitted seems borked)
I knew this was going to happen with so many lights to manage. Thanks for letting me know lol --- Post updated --- I'll have a look at this too. I made the decision to keep the original cookies because I preferred how effective they were, since the official ones aren't as "sharp". I'll see if I can get them to be dimmer, and maybe alter the cookies so the outside edges aren't so effectively lit.
game started randomly crashing lately, kinda put the Avior as a smaller suspect (praying its not a hardware issue with the prices recently), so is anyone else experiencing a random crash lately? will try to disable it beforehand just to rule it out. but i want other's input --- Post updated --- well good news: the Avior was NOT the cause of the crashings bad news:
Is there any known compatibility issues with the paid version of the Avior? I have the latest version and the vehicle spawns with an error EDIT: after verifying the game files and disabling the advanced engine tuning and debug mod the mod fixed itself
