Hello. Due to the recent game update, all Yakuza map ports (and our other maps) need light calibration to look properly lit. Fixing this means going through every port to calibrate light intensity and set emissive materials to realistic values. We're using this opportunity to polish up these levels and fix old issues. Upcoming engine updates will also help us clean up and optimize all our map ports across the board. Because of our current workload at work as well as a modders, @AgentMooshroom5 and I can’t give any exact ETA for these updates. We’re also actively working on more than 5 new maps, mostly from Yakuza 5 and 8, but also our own creations, which takes time. Expect updates to roll out gradually, starting with smaller maps like showrooms before moving on to the bigger areas. We appreciate your support and understanding And some more dev pics
Yes, it's quite challenging and required quite a bit of reverse engineering and trying to understand the new RGG approach to optimizing so huge levels on PS4, they use a lot of clever stuff there that wasn't implemented properly in yk_gmd_io or my conversion tools didn't expect as well. We are getting there however, next step is regenerating the entire port for the game
I just downloaded the map and when I try to play it gives me error code 0x00000001, and closes the game. No other map does this except this one. Any help?
The mod is unstable due to 0.39 update, it definitely needs to be updated for 0.39 cause of the mod crashing my game
Both of these maps work fine on my end on the latest public version of the game, have you all attempted with cleared cache, letting it load for ages (took me 10 minutes to load with no cache) and without any other mods installed? If it's still broken you can always try updating gpu drivers, and providing logs here could be helpful
I recommend not spamming the game and not using too many mods, and make sure your PC meets the recommended game requirements. After testing, the map works fine, only update that is needed is for fog and emissive/lights changes from 0.39. And as stated above, if you still get issues loading map, please provide logs
Mine crashes on startup too, with no mods except for the Kamurocho map, and I have the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver 610.88, which is the latest driver for my graphics card. I dont know if this is the kind of log you are looking for, but this is what I found
This one kept crashing for me upon loading it, as well as some of the other ones from this bunch of maps but I think I found the issue. It seems to be the sounds/audios in the map I have no idea why though. If you want to fix it yourself go to mods folder, open the zip of this map (or the others you want to fix) then go into levels, whatever the next folder is, main, missiongroup, sounds then delete the items.level.somethingelse file and save and you're hopefully done. Also just in case, you can open the zip with an app like winrar, or you can extract the zip do all that then put it back together if you want to but that sounds like effort to me. Also just in case again I tried it on 2 other maps and it worked, but I’m not sure if this would fix all of the affected ones since I just did those few.
Thank you for the log, I can see similarly to the other reply here: ...that the crash is in the audio system specifically, which is not something I've personally seen before. The instructions here should be good for a short term fix to get it functional again, I will see if I can find why this happens though
"kamurocho_judgment_am5.zip\levels\st_kamuro_judge\main\missiongroup\sounds" The only file inside sounds folder will be called "items.level.json" just delete that
