hey! I've found something while testing the night driving, related to the new headlight system... I can't assure it was not a thing in 0.38, but as the nights was crappy I've never encountered this problem... when you put your lights on specific glass materials, they tend to react a little too much, here with the low beams of a Sunburst it's peculiarly noticable, but it do the same round light shape with other cars like the new ardente for information on daytime its this kind of building you can find especially on industial
With respect to the lighting, yeeeeah it is a little extreme. Perhaps it's just a matter of fine tuning; the auto exposure certainly could be dialed down a bit. Our eyes perceive darkness better than cameras after all, and this reminds me of cameras in terms of contrast and reaction time. Presently in parts of Italy for example, the dashboard screen on the new car is so bright that the rest of the view turns pitch black at night. My car's dash is bright but not blindingly bright. I reckon some cars have auto-brightness, which is probably why I haven't seen a super bright infotainment screen either. I guess this has been said but the new tail lights are seemingly very bright, particularly the 3rd brake light in various cars which light up the cabin like a flood light. I dunno, something's off in regards to either the intensity or the spread.
I might try updating my drivers, since even after restarting the game it's still completely messed up
@Car_Killer sorry this might seem like a dumb question but for direct 3d 11, the game apparently runs better(I'll test later). What exactly does it not use that direct 3d 12 uses that would make the game more playable? Asking because my plain grid map ran from 100-115 fps in 0.38 and on same normal graphics in 0.39, 60 fps max.
Can I suggest bringing back the old save mechanism where we could overwrite existing configs? Or at least autocomplete when we start typing the name of a config.
Hey, if any devs are reading this, Is there a chance you would consider making the low-memory feature that prevents me from spawning more cars optional in the settings menu? I appreciate the automatic help, but I'd much rather prefer to find my own system's limits myself, and troubleshoot if the game starts crashing. I've got plenty of memory and storage left on my PC, and yet I can't even spawn more than two cars on Italy, that was with the simplified traffic too. I had a midrange Ardente and a simple traffic sunburst spawned, and it wouldn't let me go beyond that. I understand the feature is well meaning, but it's just incredibly infuriating for me, since i'm not even playing on low-end hardware.
Mine are throwing errors after just two mods reactivated. I have 504 mods that have worked error-free for years, aside from the glass texture thing. Hopefully they get rid of the arbitrary 341 mod limit and we get a patch soon.
Game’s borderline unplayable for me now. When I spawn for the first time in a map, everything works fine, but if I try to spawn another car, it just says “unable to spawn car.” I don’t know if it’s the fact that my PC is worse than a damn dish rag or that I have a bunch of mods activated. (I only have 99 mods.)
This right here. Not "unplayable" per se for me, but much more difficult to have fun and test things out.
-I made a custom Ardente config and saved it, but it automatically saves to the Vivace folder. So I can't actually see the custom config in the Ardente section of the vehicle selector -If you click the search bar in the vehicle config, sometimes the first time you start typing, it won't register as you're actually in the search bar. It's annoying if your search starts with "F" because then you exit the vehicle, obviously, as it acts like it isn't ready to receive your inputs the first time. -The image is INCREDIBLY noisy at speeds. If you're not moving, it's fine. In motion, every surface on the vehicle is very noisy, like TV static. Keep in mind, I have the graphics set to max. Vulkan/DX12 doesn't matter. It's the same. P.S. I hope the Devs are reading my messages. I've posted a few times in this thread about problems I've had, and I've only played for a couple of hours max.
Im on the lowest settings on dx12 renderer because the textures wont load and are just blurry it says im uskng all 8gb of my vram when im on the lowest settings the textures are conpltely cooked
yep! same here! thought it was a bad mod and then was swapping them around and got an error on ones i had no errors on previous lol, thought i was goin mad hahaha
Yes it is REALLY blurry for me on dx12 pls fix devs --- Post updated --- Devs pls fix the blurry textures on dx12
How do I disable the spawn limit? I'd like for my car game to have cars in it, not just one single car.
