Well yes, but the creator decided not to add new content anymore to the TAZ pack to focus on more projects. Only fixes will come. So it wouldnt make sense but (I think) you can share your ideas here
Oh okay, I was wondering if someone adds the Zeta bull bar from the Ibishu Miramar to make a derby car, I just like derby cars...
Hi! I've noticed both the TAZ Mir/Zignet and Baikal are using the wrong normal map for the skins, which makes the edge of the doors, trunk and such look weird. Left shot shows the incorrect normal map, and right shot shows the correct one.
Apologies for the necro, but there's a AWD transfer case conversion that you can do to both the Baikal and the Mir of which barely any power will be sent to the wheels as there's no supporting driveline mods in the vehicle config. I would like to be able to AWD swap either of the two as the RLS team are working on Skeleton Coast of which will have a Dakar Rally event in which AWD will be best ultilised compared to a 4WD as it is more cumbersome
Guys, please don't bump; the last discussion was in March. If the author hasn't restarted the thread himself, then you are bumping; do not bump.
Mate, the author has stated that he might fix bugs in the future, I'm making him aware, you must be fun at parties
He is the author of this mod; you are not. He knows what he is doing - making authors "aware" usually kills mods because of authors feeling rushed. With the author not having spoken anything for 5 months, rushing him to update or fix the mod will be counterproductive. Red box is a red light for people not to bump threads; don't bump; it's against the rules.
You're right about one thing, wrong about the other. yes, bumping is bad and a shitty thing to do but, making authors aware of bugs is a good thing to do and most authors want users to report bugs. but bumping a thread to report them is on the line
It's what mod authors want. Put yourself in their positions; would you want someone going "when update?" or "the mod is broken after a HUGE update fix it please?" These people are making this game better, with this mod probably being one of the best ones out there. There is no need to bump a thread when you can start a conversation with him; this isn't a nostalgia party or butler group chat. These are forums, and they have rules; these are mod authors, and they could have a million things going on in their lives. I don't know Ryancookie; I don't know what he wants, but it's not his responsibility to go update mods because some guy who likes it said so. These are mod authors; this is Ryancookie's mod. As far as we are concerned, it's his choice to do whatever he wants with it. Respect mod authors and don't bump - the two most essential rules of the forums.
Mate you joined like 2 months ago. You clearly haven't been on the forums as long as Lewhik and Eetu have been. All they were doing was bringing these issues to the attention of RyanCookie. Nowhere were they demanding a fix instantly. --- Post updated --- Actually, yes. If I were a mod author I would love if people pointed out specific bugs caused by the new update, which is what has been asked for here.
I have been on the forums for far longer, but I never chose to make an account for personal reasons; however, these forums have rules. They broke a rule, and I was just there to remind them that there shouldn't be any discussion until the author has addressed it. It is a well-known issue that the lighting system from 0.38 does not work in 0.39 (if not set to a very specific set of settings), so why the need to break the rules when he could just have started a conversation with him in private? Do we have to go bumping threads where the last time an author spoke was 5 whole months ago? I also understand that I haven't been on the forums for as long as Lewhik and Eetu - even without an account - but that doesn't allow them to break the rules. The mod author likely knows about a simple lighting issue, but again I do not know him; he will address it when he addresses it. Mod authors are the backbone of the BeamNG community, so it is better not to disturb them to cause counterintuitive issues with the continuation of this mod. May I remind everyone that Ryancookie has still not addressed anything in this thread yet, so no one -not even I- can have an opinion on whether this mod will be continued into 0.39 or not.
