Looks like they're both referring to the same week (the last week of July/first day of August). "Next week", in both cases, is this week.

At this point, the week of the 3rd is looking more and more likely.

 

I like to think at this point that the devs are waiting for people to suggest dates, and then are just trolling us by pushing the release past said reccomended date. Is that true? Absolutely not, but I like thinking it is lol

I hope they update some other vehicles/refresh them. I like the ardente but its not my style.

 

Totally with you, I've been hoping for either a Hopper or Moonhawk refresh/remaster for a while. I'm super excited for the Ardente, we need more modern vehicles, but the Moonhawk hasn't had any major refreshes in years, and the Hopper just isn't up to date either.

 

Well the trailer shows a hopper with updated textures. I just hope for a new bodystyle for it, because it holds up pretty well still.

 

True, I don't know how they would execute it, but maybe a 4 door version inspired by the Wrangler Unlimited or the Bronco? I feel like that could give it just a bit more variety.

 

i think they did, in one of the screenshots we can see a pessima (second gen) with halogen lights so it could be, unless it's a simplified model that already has it

 

What's really strange to me is that despite every other vehicle from the D-Series to the '96 Pessima getting a remaster, the Moonhawk hasn't. The devs are obviously saving the Moonhawk for something - but I'm not sure what that is. I doubt we'll get a "0.39.1" with a Moonhawk refresh (like we got for the GM remaster) - the devs haven't done major secondary updates since 0.24.1.

 

Maybe this update focusing on the Ardente, new lights, and new graphics will be the big one and 0.40 will be a smaller update with refreshes. The Moonhawk especially really needs attention, it's only saving grace is pbr and new lights. Almost all the configs are duplicates with a different transmission, engine, and color.

 

Dang it, well that sucks! But, I think the wait will be worth it. Update will probably come next week then (Maybe I should get Mecca Chameleon lmao!)…

I’ll prob be on vacation as well, but I’ll prob use GeForce NOW while I’m on vacation to play it…

 

I still gotta buy and play Solarpunk. Loved the demo, full game released like a month ago. Unfortunately I do not have much time as a working adult. I have a vacation coming up but I'm choosing to spend it with family and friends.

 

Definitely either the devblog, or finishing touches on something else. There isn't much left to do i'd imagine.
