Ibishu Grasisa 50 Overview The Ibishu Grasisa 50 is a compact urban scooter developed by Ibishu in the early 2000s. Built for crowded cities, low running costs and simple maintenance, the Grasisa quickly became a common sight throughout East Asia and several European markets. Powered by a small 50cc four-stroke engine, it wasn't designed for speed. Instead, it focused on reliability, fuel economy and everyday commuting. This project aims to recreate the scooter from the ground up with BeamNG's soft-body physics, featuring realistic suspension, drivetrain and damage simulation. Inspiration While the scooter is an original Ibishu vehicle designed for the BeamNG universe, its overall styling and proportions are loosely inspired by the Mondial Turismo 50i. It is not intended to be a 1:1 recreation, but rather a fictional BeamNG interpretation with its own identity. The "50wi" badge stood for 50 Water Injection, referring to Ibishu's marketing campaign around its newly developed low-emission intake cooling system. While the technology offered only modest improvements, it became a memorable part of the scooter's identity. By 2008, thousands of Grasisas were used by: Food delivery companies Postal services University students Small businesses Daily commuters Although never considered exciting, the Grasisa earned a reputation for being nearly impossible to kill with normal use. Today, surviving examples are popular among enthusiasts who restore or modify them with larger engines and custom body kits.
