So my WU got stuck on 99.99%... AGAIN. This is so frustrating. I need a solution to this problem badly.
edit: wait no I'm dumb nevermind that was late. In other news I took the muffler off my truck in auto and it now sounds like a battlefield, it is truly beautiful. Still can't wait to get the Jetturd out of the shop and finally get back to that.
bubble, change the banner/image to this http://download1650.mediafire.com/d3wbbuk81rag/jilnbn1n2vd4f1w/fldingatbngd.png - - - Updated - - - Hemi, please use this thread for stuff about your vehicle.
I'll switch out the logo if I can remember how I did it the first time. I meant for the one we have now to be temporary, but never changed it. Also, we usually let hemi rant around here. This thread tends to be used as a folding team chat room. EDIT: Updated, will probably take a bit for it to update.
@maxkarlmiller I believe you must not have read most of the pages of this thread, its generally not entirely folding oriented, this is of sorts a group chat for the folding team. A 'lounge' if you will. At any rate I was just at my oncologist the other day and I now have a clean bill of health! If your jimmies are that rustled I'm getting back on topic now.
oMG cardnil is illumnat cofrimedf it all meks seence now https://ia700700.us.archive.org/11/items/XFilesTheme/X Files Theme.mp3 - - - Updated - - - Great your healthy n stuff, Hemi. - - - Updated - - - I didn't know this thread was a lounge even though it says in the title . Well I saw it, but didn't really acknowledge it.
I really need to get back into folding. But my rig is too loud to sleep next to, so I'll wait until I upgrade and get a cooler that can be passive. (would a 4160 help me to get some better PPD or?)
I sent my desktop for repairs at asus and when it got back the temp would be around 70-80 just on standby, might it be about the thermal paste on the cpu? Its not a big problem for me because i dont use the desktop, but its still heating for nothing. My friend says its because its amd, amd does have more heat but it was not at 70-80 Celsius before.
CPU is too hot and GPU is fine. - - - Updated - - - Probably applied paste wrong, didn't use any, or mounted the heatsink wrong. Or maybe just forgot to plug in a heatsink fan.
Ehh, that's probably about as hot as you want it to get. With that Noctua cooler I'd think you'd get better temps. Try replacing the thermal paste?
