It’s coming out either next week or more likely the week after. I be right a lot, trust me bro. The car is 100 percent done. Idk when’s the last time the vehicle team got this much time to work. I’m just as curious to see what they did for other vehicles as far as textures or features
Thats a fair point, but usually the vehicle trailers come out with the update, and rarely a few days before (0.15 and 0.17 were like this i believe)
Also...looks like next week might not be happening. Honestly, my guess of the week of the 3rd of August is starting to look more reasonable. And...
That may be one of the most eye catching ones to my eyes yet! Yes, I know it's just grey, but with that lighting it genuinely looks almost real. Sometimes the duller the image, the more real it looks. This update's looking better by the minute
I understand what you said, but one of us show a screenshot from the discord forum with the electric engine in the rear axle with the drivetrain interface while the camera was inside what look like the Ardente. And because of that, many people though about a hybrid vehicle with the ICE engine in the front axle and the electric one in the back, like the 1st PSA hybrid gen drivetrain before being denied by the devs. But yes, I'm waiting the Ardente to be a FWD.
I believe so, yes. Ironically enough, this was right after some people were complaining about the AI still being bad after 7 years. That was right after I had a big conversation with some people on the Discord about the chances of a Ford Focus (either the Mk2 US version, like the Vertex, or a Mk3/Mk4 version) or a Carlton/JZX90-like vehicle being added to the game. I said that the Sunburst, FCV, and I-Series are too close to all of those vehicles and got laughed at for "having bad takes". I absolutely wouldn't mind any of those vehicles being in the game. However, if the Wendover got revamped into a coupe to not be too close to the LeGran (despite being much larger and heavier), I don't know if the devs would bother adding vehicles that are even closer to current vehicles in size and weight. Yes, that is unexpected. It might drop on the 12th, as a funny little joke.
They could and probably should use July 12 to mega-troll us all and release some of the update feature trailers like they do with every major update (which is amazing btw no other really devs do this so well) but still make everyone wait a little longer lol.
Been experimenting with AI paths lately so I will do some explaining for everyone. These are invisible decal roads used for Ai pathing, the pathing is very basic. You can change the number of lanes and if its one way or two way, and theres a value for spawning (1 being likely to spawn, and drive fast, 0.1 slow speed and unlikely to spawn) And thats about it. In this image it seems the yellow is the fast lane (As the very left lane in HOV) meaning we get better lane management. The red I assume is strict lane keeping, and yellow high traffic flow, blue being default. Paths already exist in the drainage system Heres a screenshot of it atm.
