This is probably to do with me not being very good at making stable suspension jbeams, which means that it's alright at stock ride height (what I tuned it for) but it breaks down a bit whenever you lower the car. It's likely that there's some instability somewhere caused by that and that's where the noise is probably from. If anyone wants to have a go at fixing this, feel free, but I've tried and I can't seem to.
hey man, I've been having a problem were every time I spawn in it say "error loading vehicle" and I cant drive or interact at all. I've cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled twice, is there any way to fix this?
Love the mod! I just wish the caster had wider range of tuning. from -100 to +100 it only changes by about 0.4 degrees.
Check console- There will be a "FATAL LUA ERROR" written in red in there and the lines below that will tell you what's broken. If you don't know what it's trying to tell you, send a screenshot of the whole red section here.
Hi again- sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this. That looks like a mod conflict; try deactivating all of your other mods and see if the mod works once you've done that.
Try to use the Vehicle Conflict Inspector tool to see what causes the problem. https://www.beamng.com/resources/vehicle-conflict-inspector.38008/
I don't plan on adding more content to the Avior at this stage as I've moved onto a new project, the Stirling Ventura. I'm obviously going to be keeping up with update compatibility on this though.
I think it's a little justifiable to be upset when you're told a mod you paid for isn't getting any more content after only a little over a year of support. Just my two cents.
Oh, my apologies for not noticing the phone on the car, i thought that it didn't had a phone, but thanks for telling me though
Make sure you're logged in to the account with the email you bought the mod with. It should show up there if you do. If that doesn't work, contact Gumroad support. --- Post updated --- It has one in the centre console on higher end models.
The mod is finished, this isn't like a free to play game that gets updates every few months, you paid for a product and got the product.
You're forgetting the 2 and a half years of work I put into it prior to release which I did to make sure it didn't need a significant amount more content after the fact. I've also been giving it consistent support for nearly one and a half years, and have been pretty quick to get compatibility updates out whenever a game update breaks the mod or adds a feature. What you said only sounds like a bad deal because you framed it as "only a little over a year", as if that was the only attention I gave the mod. You also have to remember that I'm a one-man band for 99% of the stuff that I do with modding, so if I want to make new mods, I can't also be making more content for this.
