Hi all, glad to see the positive reactions to the postings so far, to answer the questions asked so far; Q: Soft top or Metal top? A: Soft top, similar to a BMW Z4 (G29) or Mustang Convertible. Q: What is it based on? A: Although not based on anything particular, the original model was based upon the BMW Z4 & Nissan Z. A lot of inspiration has since come from cars like the NEVS Emily GT and Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Q: Will it have advanced powertrains/hybrid? A: No, the Huldra is intended to be a "pure" sports car rather than something overcomplicated, nor will the powertrain be anything different from what's found in standard BeamNG cars, as I do not believe I will be able to work on that kind of stuff, unless I receive help from others but I also do not believe that it is necessary for anything more advanced than what the game already utilises. Q: Will it have a interactable display? A: No, I do not believe an interactable display is something necessary for the mod, simply just a gimmick used by some mods for extra intractability and function. Hopefully these responses help clear up some stuff and I look forward to sharing some progress very soon! In the mean time here are some screenshots of some extra trims previously mentioned. Please note that the wheels and engine used in the offroader/dakar style build are not created by myself and original sources are unknown, these will NOT be present on the final version. Both GT3 and Dakar style builds are extremely W.I.P and subject to change once all variants have been successfully merged into one singular file.
Hi all, as promised here is a small update on the progress of the main chassis modelling. Progress hasn't been super fast but it is moving, it takes awhile to separate and create the specific parts to be more usable for beam but I am currently enjoying the process. Progress is starting with the convertible body before being transferred over to the coupe, as the convertible had more already complete. Not much to say, if you have any suggestions or input to give I am more than open to them!
