Hello Drivers, Background: I was looking for a simple stopwatch to count my laps on the Nürburgring GP map. However, I found it a bit tedious to always enter and exit the map challenge for this, and I was also struggling with the official Beamng Laps with a pinpoint marker. Therefore, I decided to build my own Stopwatch. Information: This is a lightweight, simple stopwatch app with laps: It features the normal stopwatch functions: - START/PAUSE: to toggle the timer - STORE LAP time: to capture your current lap split and total session time, and reset the main display to zero for your next lap - STOP/SOFT RESET timer: to pause and reset to zero the main timer without deleting all the stored laps - TRASH/DELETE: Wipes all the laps and RESETs timer It also shows your Local system clock (because otherwise I would be driving for hours until 1 AM). Please keep in mind, I just started SIM Driving and BeamNG a few months ago, and I still know very little about this game. It just happened that I worked with the same type of UI applications in the past. I will appreciate any feedback! Future roadmap for this stopwatch app: I'm considering researching and adding the following features in upcoming versions: - Have a dedicated input button for STORE LAP (if it is not possible in the current state, maybe I'll use the Horn input?) - Have a dedicated input button for START/PAUSE LAP - Persistently store the laps into local storage or into a dedicated file, so the laps don't disappear when you reload the UI - Have multiple UI layouts, I'm thinking to add another horizontal layout where the laps list is shown on the right side (so the app can also be placed at the bottom or top of the screen, currently it fits on the left/right side of the screen) Download: ZIP Archive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NTXncjmhiL0D6fopVHWi6MBoDXE4EKdU/view?usp=sharing (I am clicking "Upload a File" on this Post, but nothing happens... therefore I am adding a Google Link) How to install: On Windows: Copy the zip archive into your BeamNG user mods folder, e.g.: Code: C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\mods Then, in the game, to load the Stopwatch in UI - Pause the game (ESC) - Go to "UI Apps" - Click "Edit Apps" - Click "Add App" - Scroll to the "General" section - Double click "Simple Stopwatch with Laps" - Drag and drop the stopwatch app wherever you want in your screen - Press ESC or "Back to gameplay" I kindly request that you link back to this official thread for downloads to help me gather feedback, instead of re-uploading it raw anywhere else. Release V1.1.0 on Sunday, June 28, 2026: Support for Keyboard/Controller/Wheel Input was added: - Toggle Start/Pause - Store Lap, that resets main stopwatch display to 00:00:00 and continues the timer - Additional feature: If the timer is stopped and set on 00:00:00, LAP button will start the timer (Useful if you only want 1 button for starting hotlapping)
