Huh, that's interesting. It's still working for me. Not sure what's going on then. Thanks for sharing
Merhaba, bu modu bir süredir G29 direksiyon setimle kullanıyorum. Ancak Roadranger 13, 15 veya 18 vites seçeneklerini seçtiğimde, 4. ve 8. vitesleri algılamıyor. --- Post updated --- Hi, I've been using this mod for a while now with my G29 wheel. But whenever I choose the Roadranger 13, 15, or 18-speed options, it just doesn't detect 4th and 8th gears. --- Post updated --- Hi, I've been using this mod for a while now with my G29 wheel. Looks like drivetrain mod will f*** up again as the separate of T-Series' Conventional and Cab-Over. Guys get ready a copy for 0.38.6 before 0.39 update.
I'm having an issue where the first rear axle (front rear axle) isn't receiving power when using the electric motor. The second rear axle and the rearmost axle both work normally. Has anyone encountered this before or know what could be causing it?
I've been trying to get the 18-speed Roadranger working, but I'm running into the same issue that several other users have mentioned in the mod discussion. I'm using a PXN A7 shifter, and all of my gear bindings are set correctly in BeamNG. The shifter works normally in the standard H-pattern layout: Reverse = push down + bottom-right position 1st–6th gears are all correctly detected and bound The issue only appears when using the 18-speed Roadranger. Whenever I shift into 4th gear (and 8th gear after the range change), the transmission goes into neutral instead of engaging the gear. I also tested the 15-speed transmission: It works correctly when using the Standard shift pattern. However, when I switch to the Dogleg or Horseshoe shift pattern, the exact same issue occurs—the bottom-left gear position (4th gear in that layout) just goes into neutral instead of engaging the gear. I tested the 13-speed as well. Since it doesn't have any options to change the gear layout, I can't test Dogleg or Horseshoe, but it still exhibits the same issue with that gear position. Since multiple users have reported the same problem, I'm wondering if this is a bug with the transmission layouts or if there's a workaround. Has anyone using a PXN A7 or a similar shifter managed to resolve this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
I use the shifter from the PXN V99 (gated 6spd w/low-hi toggle) and all of the Eaton transmissions work perfect for me. It only acted up once (missing gear) while using the 15-spd but wasn't present when I restarted. I bound all of my gears individually when I first started playing. But when I use the Eaton 18spd my reverse is up and to the left and next is low, then 1-4. Seems mine is different than most.
Yeah, the shifter in that bundle is the same shifter i have. Yeah same shift patter aswell as yours when using 18 speed, I just dont have the 4th/8th gear (Bottom right, 6th Gear) The others above are having the same issue as im having
As I mentioned before, my problem unfortunately persists; the mod creators are not addressing the issue.
Yeah I just tested it with the yard truck config and it's dead like you said. Gotta love updates breaking random little things.
Well to get around this you could always use the node grabber to pull the trailer up, or just change the fifth wheel to a regular one and back under it like normal. I’ve been following this mod since shortly after it first came out, it definitely needs an update but going off historical update pattern, probably won’t come until fall/winter (there haven’t been updates in the summer since 2024, since then all updates have been in fall or winter.)
Yeah for people who play career/RLS that won't work as the nodegrabber is disabled. For me I just use an airbag rear suspension for any height differential.
