It looks so boring. The Tokyo area is tiny as fuck, only about the size of 4km. Ans its got the AAA treatment of looking like a clean hospital. I could go on about the driving and all that, but my main issue is the shitty AAA map.
I kinda agree, I think the map is a bit too small and you cant reach top speed in your car because there are no shreachs of roads
yes and the thing is REAL Jdm cars prob wont even be in like the japan imported opel astra g but cars like are ram that got never sold there are in there and thats the point were i ask how realistic is it really i mean yes they say its an arcade but the marketing it as a simulator
I think the map is a million times better than the sandpit we got with 5. It's got something of a sense of speed that just wasn't there with Mexico. I know people aren't happy about the lack of customization etc etc, but It's Forza, we all knew exactly what we would be getting so to expect a detraction from the norm would be foolish. It's a simcade game I guess, a cross between the two. Not sure I agree with your point though. Many people probably wouldn't even have bothered with it if we *only* had JDM cars to pick from.
I believe that they will probably add more bodykits in the future, or re-add the ones that they removed when they remastered some of the cars. They've done this previously, like how they added 21 Rocket Bunny bodykits to FH5 in 2022
Stuff that never got sold officially over there can still be imported in, and it doesn't stop anyone from doing so and driving it over there.
I suppose what annoys me the most about the game though is that one of the first four cars you get is an American car. Don't get me wrong, I like the GMC Jimmy, it's just a weird decision to have that as the starter pickup when many Japanese brands have made similar pickups, and, ones that are similar in years to the Jimmy. Like, they could've given us the Nissan Safari or a Toyota Hilux. For a game that is based on Japanese automotives, it seems like a weird decision to include American off-roaders as starter cars.
Yeah, you wanna know another Japanese Off-road SUV? The SUZUKI Jimny. I guess the devs just accidentally typed another M instead of an N.
I have basically the opposite opinion, to be honest. FH6 looks great, and the map carries it hard, but everything else is mediocre at best. The FOMOslop is still the same (I straight up refuse to interact with it), a lot of car sounds got ruined (compared to FH5, which wasn't the best either), arbitrary buffs and nerfs to various things, the list could go on and on. It's good as a cruising and photo game (Sotoyama and Takashiro regions, my beloved), I'll give it that, but in every other aspect, BeamNG is better (but we all know that anyways).
