Hello everyone! I have just made a new mod called The Greatest Generation Automobile Company. It features 5 cars from Automation that I think you guys would love to try if your up for it, so once it's released I'll send a comment in this thread, I really hope you like it, as I put a lot of time and effort into this, now of course, it's got some bugs but as it's in Alpha, those bugs will start going away with each update, so please check it out if you would like and please tell me some things you like about the mod or think I should improve, I'll try to respond to as many comments as possible! Okay everyone, I have good news and bad news, the good news is, that the mod is out!!! The bad news is, that the cars are completely silent so i will have to update it by putting the art folder into the zipped folder itself. Fear not! this will be fixed immediately!!! --- Post updated --- Hello again ladies and gentlemen, I think I may have fixed the sound issue ( no engine sounds at all as art folder was missing) but while we wait for it to get approved (hopefully!) I do have a question to ask, how do I make whitewall tires in Automation, I can't really paint the sidewall but other people have done it before, so it doesn't sound TOO hard, but if anyone has a tutorial or a video explaining this, I would be most grateful!
There are certain rims from Aruna & other Automation modders that have colourable pieces of the rims that function as the whitewall themselves, maybe some tire textures are in the mods too?
I tried those but they didnt work the way i wanted them to so, but i did see something on the Automation forums about going into the cars code for the tires and specifically changing the sidewall color, but i dont know if thats outdated, but hey man i really appreciate the suggestion!
Hello Everyone, The mod is approved and fully released!!!! --- Post updated --- Okay just a quick question for everyone, are the cars silent for you guys or is it just me, i have a potato PC and i know it doesn't like beamng sometimes but it i wanna make sure your not getting silent cars too, please tell me if you are so i can figure out why the heck its not working
