Hello my fluffy's, your friend LourdFox here. After a lot of hard work, I can finally bring back the Ford Transit MK6, now with significant improvements. This mod was previously available through GlobalDesigns, but they abandoned the project and cut off communication with me, so I decided to take the reins and improve it myself. You already know the general idea behind this project: taking the existing mod and enhancing it—preserving its essence while expanding it to offer a much more complete, realistic, and varied gameplay experience. What will this new version include? Cab, crew cab, standard body, high-roof body, extended body, and long body options • 60+ different configurations • 15+ designs/liveries (skins) • 5 window tint options • Ford, Falcon, and Vapid variants • Versions compatible with in-game traffic • New configurations using standard BeamNG parts (Ambulance, Box Truck, Flatbed, and Slidebed) • Adaptation to the new lighting systems introduced in the latest version • Additional material improvements to optimize the overall visual appearance • Multiple bug fixes and general Jbeam adjustments • Full Career Mode compatibility: every part has a realistic value, and configuration prices are adjusted to reflect real-world costs so they don't end up being too cheap in-game • I’ve added several new parts for better customization: plastic paintable aged plastic generic plastic • The mod now features both LHD (left-hand drive) and RHD (right-hand drive) versions—though not 100% complete yet, as the sliding door is still only on one side; I am currently working on switching to a setup with two sliding doors and two interchangeable fixed panels. • 5 real-world engines, tuned to faithfully represent the original mechanics, along with realistic transmissions for a much more authentic driving experience. • Finally, the issue causing a jolt or impact when generating most configurations has been resolved. Why do I say "most"? • The dual rear wheel suspension still exhibits a knocking issue when it appears in the game. ⚠️ Important information: Although many major issues have been fixed, some minor bugs remain, but the mod is already very enjoyable. You know you can come up with a different name, specially a name known as Gavril Mover, since Gavril is the Ford of BeamNG, but hey, it's your choice Update: i read and realized that it's an existing mod but remixed or improved by you
I was the original creator of the mod; it was a commission. But the person who commissioned it no longer sells the mod and cut off all contact with me. That's why I decided to take control of the project and bring it back to life. It's still a Ford; I just changed it to Falcon on the forum to ward off those people who keep bothering me about copyright.
There used to be a rusty weathered version, this has been removed? It also had a rusty underbody & wheels & grey bumpers. Can you bring it back?
I love vans. Please someone, do a volkswagon van. No no no, the shitbox from the 80s! I want THAT one! But forreal, I can't wait for this mod. I love vans. Edit: Wait. Are we not able to just buy the mod outright? We have to subscribe to your patreon?
Mm lovely edited h-series slop, this is on the same quality as free mods..no reason to have it behind a 5 dollar paywall lmao
It will cost the same as the subscription, but it's still in development, and now I'm going to focus on other pending projects that I'll also be publishing through my Patreon subscriptions. --- Post updated --- You're not obligated to pay; you can probably get an older version for free from Modland, and most of my mods are free. I can't fund all my mods through donations. --- Post updated ---
im going to say my thoughts aloud - this looks exactly like globaldesign's transit mod but only with the badges replaced. i completely do not think this is worth paying or even being listed as paid.
I remember a mod like this from a while back (2021-2022 or so). It was right-hand drive (for the UK market) and had that BT-Skin. It also had that weathered skin iirc
If you took the time to read the post, you would know that it's the same mod, and that I am the original author of said mod, since Global Designs abandoned the project a while ago, so I decided to take control of the project, which I decided to resume in order to improve it and make it available again.
The patch is fine since it’s free, I guess. But the complete Sprinter mod that your selling is paid, which is once again ILLEGAL.
im sorry but when your light textures look bad even in the screenshots you provide, do you like even care about quality? im not saying you should make the best mod out there, but at least make it presentable before posting this... the texture and model work seems straight out of a 2018 mod, charging any amount of money for this is honestly insane.
In the end, they won't stop looking the same because, at the end of the day, they're the same vehicle. Yes, the skins are the same, but I got them from skins for another game. I don't think they're original to that mod; all I did was adjust them for my mod. --- Post updated --- My mods include three lighting stages: parking lights, low beams, and high beams. What you see here is the first stage, the parking lights. I'm still working on improving them, since unfortunately I don't have access to this Transit model. In my country, it wasn't sold until the next generation, the MK7, so it's very difficult to find pictures of what the parking lights look like on this particular model. I'm still working on improving how they look. The issue of rooms in my mods is something I still need to work on improving; not everything is perfect, especially something that isn't standardized in BeamNG mods.
If you'd like, you can wait until the mod is officially finished, but that's still a long way off. I'm simply posting it now because there are many people interested in getting early access to this mod.
It won't be free; this is one of my few mods that will be paid. I haven't set the price yet; I'll figure that out when I finish it, but it will probably end up costing $5, since I need to add the conversion fees to my local currency to the final price of the mod.
ah, i see so it's a ford which actually isn't a ford, but at the same time it is. and not only is it not a ford and is a ford, it's also 2 fake fords, neither of which exist in their respective universes
