i bought this on gumroad a while back and i want to get the newest version however i dont know where i can get it? i got the license key.

 

check the email you used for a receipt/ confirmation email.

otherwise, make an account using the email you used during the purchase; pretty sure both Gumroad and Lucas's website would automatically move all purchases done on that email into your library

Hello everyone

I'm currently working on an update for all of my current mods, so I can fix any bugs and update them all to 0.39 standards. This obviously includes the Scout.
I have a few things coming and I thought I'd post my current progress here just so you guys can get any feedback through before release, or just share your ideas and opinions.

Hybrid & EV powertrains :


Some of it is custom, some of it is from the FCV (shared platform). I've made sure the cable routing actually makes sense and looks good.
I've been working on the hybrid system for a while for another mod and figured a port wouldn't be too difficult so here it is. It's a P2 architecture so e-motor sits in between the engine and transmission, and can be decoupled from the ICE to allow for fully electric driving. Will include different drivemodes, so for example the default one will shut off the engine for efficient city driving. The hybrid system is fully custom and will not depend on any core mods.
This is all in-game and working 95% at the moment. Just needs some final stress testing.

New digital gauge cluster :

Fully custom, has combustion and hybrid variants, alerts, and animations between ignition states. Fits the modern "no fun for you" agenda.

Sunroof :

(pretty self-explanatory)

And of course the new 0.39 stuff, like the new lighting techniques, new headlights, and interior triggers. The animated sunvisors should be coming too.

this is really cool! id love to see a crossbar thingy though on the sunroof as i noticed most vehicles which have a panoramic roof have that. or you could go really crazy berlingo style and have 5 small ones

edit: in all seriousness, nice to see you're still working on these. was kinda getting worried they wouldn't see much work (especially the Barstow, which could definitely use one)

 

the car the Scout is based on has a fixed pano roof with no cross bar.

you are right! sorry, i didn't realise that. looks very odd too irl because of the way the glass bends on the roof

 

Will you keep the analog gauges though? Or at least submit the digital ones + hybrid as a facelift/new version, alongside the classic one?
