I believe this is the final fascia. It has the most detail --- Post updated --- Ai rendering, I will try to draw my own later. I think the grille is correct.
If mustang was from France MAY not be so out there as you think, ( not really but sort of ) Simca was a French brand, often into hatches, BUT they did have a deal with FORD of all things, Note the flathead is into a uni-body car ( the simca ) While i think this is the cousin of a vivace, And would have nothing to do with a US_brand we can dream, Now what if you turn the vivace engine side ways, you get RWD< it is possible but i do think a Fun set of up FWD-AWD is likely more so, STILL would like to see more Weather stuff ( often the car comes first for me, then what ever else 2nd ) this tme its 50/50, god am hyped
That actually looks very dead on to what we saw. Hopefully this prediction will be correct, if not ah well, not bad for being AI generated.
I think it could be cool if there was a weather system BUT, as mentioned in Skyfall's newest video, it would require a lot of texture reloading which would NOT go over well. Additionally, Torque3D, for an engine from 2001, is being pushed to it's absolute limits. Therefore, I think that before a weather update, we would need an optimization update, as previously in update 0.21 (i think) when the tire physics were overhauled. If the devs focus exclusively on optimization and maybe permanently switching to vulkan, I honestly wouldn't mind a small update.
Looks good , ain't gonna lie ! --- Post updated --- Feels like next teaser will be about the weather / skybox changes . They showed a lot about the car but they only showed the new volumetric clouds a single time ...
I am heavily betting on this being an addition to the FCV platform. This is not going to be a new, separate car, but rather an extension. The proportions and the A-pillar to the front wheel arch distance is too small to be RWD.
They can build a new car on the same platform but there’s no way they’re gonna put 3 cars on the same fcv vehicle selector. That’d be way too convoluted
@CrashHavenBNG NOT trying to steel you're thunder but woah you;re render is stunning, I hope its ok if i did some of my own, Again am sorry if not, Anyway After lots of fails The final red Coupe based on you;re render ( again i hope its ok i did that so legit sorry if not ) And i ran it ( and beamns last weeks teaser ) into the AI engine, and got this Coupe, MY god, its stunning! I dont think i will use the vivace much unless i want a EV or very basic car, I think i may even use this more then the ETK :O time will tell, TBH getting a Mazda vibe to it,
Ai rendering, I will try to draw my own later. I think the grille is correct. Its not MY render lol. Its Ai. When using Ai you are the customer, not the creator.
could also be transverse mid-engine rwd like the newer Alpine A110 or Lotus Exige. The front end of the new car in your comparison image is shorter than the Vivace.
True, BUT The fact it has a grill DOES make me wonder, i hope its front engine as am boring The alpine does have a lower grill so i dunno
I would be surprised if it doesn't use the same FCV drivetrain I just hope they revamp it for the new car
i personally would love to see I really hope a modder (if its not from vanilla) will convert this new Car to a mid engine RWD car like the Alpine IRL is
Looking closely at the frames of the video, it appears that there are at least 3 distinct versions near the end. using some natural stupidity rather than artificial intelligence, I've concocted some speculative sketches of what the final designs might look like, overlaid on top of the vivace to try to get the proportions right. #1 looks weird, and the shape of what grille we can see leads me to believe it will definitely be really weird looking, after all this is cherrier we're talking about. The black trim all over #2 makes me think it's for the "Arsenic" trims. the whole lower grille is a complete guess, all i'm going off is the smooth, continuous topology of the colour matched strip through the middle of the bumper. I suspect #3 will be mainly used for the more basic and "GT" trims. I hadn't seen gtaman's post above with the AI generated picture while making it, but it looks surprisingly similar. It's also probably worth noting that the whole car gets widened right on the transition from #1 to #2 (#3 is also wide body), so #1 is most likely the narrowbody base model variant.
I would say that's normal and to be expected; that's not uncommon at all on most BeamNG cars. I will say @CaptainZoll that I'm not convinced that the first fascia isn't just the more beginning stages of a more developed front fascia. Hell, I'm not even fully convinced 2 and 3 are different, but the side intakes are slightly different, but it could just, again, be one is more developed. That black bit between the headlights in grill doesn't have to be blacked; it could just have been a separate section they were contouring, and then applied the color (red) after. But the whole bit still doesn't make sense if it's not some optical illusion, and it really is concave, like how I'm seeing it. I will say it's definitely not done (No $hit, Sherlock, I know I know), but I just mean that there are some lines/contours that don't really make sense, so it's most likely getting tweaked a little bit further Also, that front grill looks a little small, especially if this is a modern car. It just seems like a lot of wasted space between the front grill and the headlight. But may be because the car is a lot wider than I think. I put examples of grill shapes
I wonder if they'll eventually break up the Vivace and Tograc as they did the D-Series and Roamer long ago. That would allow both cars to become more differentiated, with the Vivace being able to officially get different body styles, and the Tograc being able to get its own design rather than just being a lifted Vivace hatchback.
