Yes, these beautiful, unique buildings are (will be) definitely one of the top highlights of this map! I imagine arriving at the coast after a long drive from the vast desert to such a colorful and vibrant city. I will certainly enjoy that to the fullest! Great work !
Such a beautifull map, created by Murokmakto, lots of beautiful buildings, and a dessert, a harbor, so a lot to explore, it is great for drivers, roleplayers, jumpers(over the dunes) and flyers.
This is actually the WIP map im most excited for right now, it looks so beuatiful and im curious if you are making the map BeamNG lore friendly? i see you have placed down real branded parked cars around the map on the streets
There are some real vehicles and brands in the map but I either renamed them to make it lore friendly (Toyota is Totoya or De Beers is Woermann etc) or the logos are so low resolution that they are unreadable or have no logo at all. So everyone knows its a Land Rover but its not 100 identical and it has no logo on it... I am not sure how strict BeamNg is about this thing, I mean there are several mods out there that are like 100% the original car with just a different badge (like Cherrier Tango), so for my understanding it is alright this way. Worst case I will remove some vehicles in an update or make more changes to them. Yes I try to release it asap.
Version 1.0 is officially released. Get it here __________________________________________ This map was planned as a paid mod but in the end I decided to make it free. If you like it you can support me here
Holy crap this map already looks amazing, but actually playing it is way better than i thought, peak map!!!
I did a Volgesang to Outlands run in a Scintilla. The sheer scale of this map is amazing, I can definitely see myself doing trucking missions on this, and actually resting at the truck stop lol.
Hi Murokmakto, I can see the amount of dedication and time you put into this project, it's really impressive! especially the custom buildings. My favourite detail is the wave decals on the beaches I think a more challenging off -road trail would be a great addition in this area Congratulations for the release! (p.s. who did you write to about the repository? I'm waiting for a reply since december)
i love this map, and it runs very well on my laptop. only one thing, the roads are too wide, like two bruckell nines parked parralel to eachother,. unless its meant to resemble wide south african roads
Ty. I saw the wave decal idea on youtube on terrymartins channel. I wonder why I haven´t seen it on any other maps so far. Its not perfect but still a lot better than without tbh.. Yes there are many places that could still need some trails. So much is still empty. I´ll see what I will add in the first update.. ps: I posted it to the repository like this. It took 2 weeks to be approved. If you are waiting since december you should definitely either write the mod support or upload again the same way as I did. You mean the roads in the town or the highway? I took the measurements of the road widths from google earth. they tend to have really wide roads down there.. almost like in the US. this is in swakopmund, the town that mostly inspired vogelsangbay on the map: the road is wide enough for an airplane to land there lol. feels really weird for a european who is used to narrow roads that only fit one car.
I'm having a texture problem on the map; I've already cleared the cache and it didn't solve the problem.
having that too the cars and some objects have a wierd glitching asphalt/gravel Texture mostly seen on the semitruck props but also on the normal car props but the map runs surprisingly well on my end with mostly 60 fps and when im in the towns it drops to around 50
Can you send a screenshot? I think I know what you mean and that is probably one of the known issues but I can verify it with a screenshot.
